We enjoyed our stay at the lovely house. Our highlight was for sure the lovely living area with its huge windows to watch the ocean and the arriving planes as well as fabulous whirlpool :)

Great home! Very stylish and comfortable. We felt very at home here. The hot tub was a great place to relax at the end of the day.

Great communication, beautiful home. We had everything we needed. Views were amazing. Close to lots of stores and restaurants. Klara was a gracious host, very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We plan to come back in the summer next year and will stay here again. Gorgeous home! The bathroom and whole house is beautifully renovated. The kitchen is fully stalked with everything you could need including spices. The beds are comfortable, the home is well heated. Everything was perfect - highly recommend and would return again!

This was such an amazing place! The views from the back were amazing, perfect view of the city, yet super close to the city - less than 5 minutes to get there! We also had 3 kids with us, they loved the hot tub and exploring the backyard. Loved our stay here and would stay again.

We stayed wishing to catch the Northern Lights and we were lucky enough to do so each night and be there for a huge solar storm. We ventured out the first night and after that realized we were able to stay comfy at our airbnb and see them both in the front yard and backyard. The house was spacious and our children 7 & 1 loved the books and toys available. We were offered a portable crib and high chair which were convenient. There were plenty of novels for adults and a variety of books on Iceland. There is a washer and large drying rack, dishwasher, and full kitchen which was wonderful since it is a serene spot you can relax and not run down the road 15 minutes for food or coffee. I enjoyed walking the road to the church and admiring the horses next door. The location is remote and going to parks or the city required an hour drive. Our host was gracious and extended our check out which was helpful. Thank you for your hospitality.

Lovely place with a view! Will stay again!

Home was perfect for our family of six that needed a couple of nights stay while beginning our exploration of Iceland. There are two twin beds in the basement that two of my kids enjoyed, a lovely main level with half bath and open floor plan kitchen, dining and main living room. The third floor had the master bedroom for mom and dad, another bedroom for two other kids with a full bathroom and soak tub as well as a bonus living room. And a cool feature that the kids loved was the fourth level for playing with secret cubbies for fort playing. Location, home and host were great. Scava was very communicative and kind. Would enjoy staying again!

Hilmar’s home was the perfect place for my family to enjoy 6 days in Iceland. The home was exactly as pictured and allowed us to have plenty of space to enjoy together time or time apart after a long day of togetherness. The home was very clean, instructions were clear and Hilmar was always very responsive. I would highly recommend this home and plan to share with friends as they look to travel to Iceland.

Una was an excellent host, she always responded to our communications promptly. Checking in was a breeze no hassles, her instructions were clear and accurate. Location was absolutely perfect close to everything including shops, groceries, restaurants and bars. The house was truly charming cozy and very very clean. It was very comfortable and relaxing staying there. I would definitely consider staying there if I visited Reykjavík again in future.

We had a lovely stay! House was very clean and comfortable. It was a perfect place for my family of four. We explored Reykjavik and went on several driving adventures to check out the many sites of natural beauty in Iceland. This home was a perfect place to return to each night. Sometimes we like to cook at home after a long day of exploring. This home has a well appointed kitchen that is exceptionally well supplied. My daughter and I are runners. We were thrilled to find the paved walking/cycling/running paths nearby. I accidentally left my Kindle on the couch when we left. Our host went the extra mile and shipped it back to me (in the US). I highly recommend this home!!

What a beautiful house! Our children also loved the house. It completely met our expectations. It doesn't get any better than this.

We had a wonderful stay at Otto's! The house is in a nice residential area that is quiet and safe. The house was very comfortable - from nice beds + bedding, furniture in the living room, kitchen table and chairs and the kitchen was completely equipped. The house is a convenient 15 min drive to downtown Reykjavic. We did the Golden Circle one day, had several afternoons downtown exploring museums, etc and took an overnight trip along the south coast to Glacier Lagoon ( 6+hours with stops at Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss, Reynisfjara ). The location is also well situated to Snaefellness peninsula and going further, to the Northfjords. The appliances are European so celsius for the oven and you may want to ask for directions for the washing machine. We would absolutely book with Otto again.
