There is also free parking on the street in front of the apartment, and by Hallgrímskirkja. Cross the street to Hallgrimskirkja and take a few steps more to Laugavegur, the main street with cafes, restaurants, bars, galleries, and shops. It's ten minutes on foot to Harpa, the National Theater, the National Gallery, and other attractions. A five-minute walk takes you to Sundhöllin, the oldest swimming pool in Reykjavik; it has an indoor pool with outdoor thermal pools and a sauna - worth a visit. When arriving in the city by bus from Keflavík Airport (recommended, at 20 USD per head), you would find yourself at the central bus station (BSÍ), which is a ten-minute walk to the apartment, or a few minutes by taxi. Most buses from the airport will, if asked, drop you off at Hallgrímskirkja, Hótel Leifur Eiríksson, or Café Loki, all within a minute´s walk from the apartment. Buses returning from sight-seeing tours, Northern lights tours and such, will usually have their drop-off points at Hallgrímskirkja across the street, or at Einar Jónsson Art Museum, an arm's length away from the apartment. Hotels in the area, some within a minute's walk, have easy pick-up for those leaving for the airport. Apartment is officially registered at the City council of Reykjavík, as specified by local laws. Kirkjuland is a small farm just 10km north of Reykjavik, on Kjalarnes. Located under the beautiful mountain Esja. Peaceful and cozy.. We can host 2 persons at our facility. One bedroom cosy apartment in the heart of the city. Close to restaurants,bars,cafés,shops ,the landmark church and the main bus station. The apartment is 65 m2 apartment and it consists of an open plan kitchen ,living room and bedroom.The bedroom has one king size bed that can be pulled apart, living room has a sofabed that is 140 cm x 200 .The bathroom is spacious with a bathtub and a shower. The apartment has a private entrance and is on second floor in a friendly 2 apartment house.

The views are spectacular, of the lake and its surrounding mountain scape; it is a place of pure tranquility. It has 3 bedrooms and an open plan kitchen and sitting room. It has a large double bedroom, and small double bedroom and a room with a bunk bed. It is well known and often listed as one of the most scenic and lovely summer cottages in Iceland.
