Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Guanajuato

This home was an absolute dream, by far the most beautiful I have ever stayed in. Every corner is filled with vibrant colors, romantic details, and traditional Mexican design. A place that felt warm and full of character. The host was very responsive, and Sandra, who I believe is the manager, was super kind, attentive, and made us feel right at home. I left with a full heart and can’t wait to return with my family to share this magical experience. Thank you, thank you, thank you! 🤍

The house was bigger than expected. Pleanty of rooom for our group of 8. The house is about 12 minutes walk from the main city, it is up hill but manageable. The view from the upper terrace is magnificent, we enjoyed sitting there at night. There is an OXXO near the house, very conviniente and opened late. Overral we had a great stay.

The room is super nice, full of lots of flora and the place is very pleasant. Excellent cleanliness and you sleep peacefully, the house is very spacious to feel comfortable and at ease. We arrived with a 3-year-old and it was excellent for them too, thanks to the crib and high chair in the room, the excellent water pressure and the spacious bathrooms as well as the rooms and beds. The attention and treatment by the host was incredible, always attentive to all our needs and very kind, 100% recommended the place. Thank you very much for everything ☺️

This house was an absolute gem—full of character and charm, and so much more personal than a standard Airbnb. On top of that, it was spotlessly clean and perfectly located, just a short walk from everything. The highlight was the incredible view over the entire city from the spacious terrace and the top-floor room—the perfect place to start the day. The host was amazing: super responsive (always replied within minutes!) and gave us fantastic recommendations for cultural events, sights, and great places to eat. There are a few quirks, like steep stairs and a nearby bar that plays music in the evening—but the music always stopped by midnight, so it never disturbed us. We absolutely loved our stay and would come back anytime!!

Maritere and Rodrigo were exceptional hosts and went out of their way to solve any problems that arose during our month-long stay, such as when a neighbor blocked our vehicle and when we ran out of gas. The air conditioning was a lifesaver during the hottest month of the year, and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped so we could prepare meals with relative ease. If we weren't already residents of Guanajuato, we'd stay here again!

Airbnb was located in a really good spot and has lots of room.

Highly recommended, the place is as described. There was a situation with the parking, but it was always on the lookout and everything was resolved.

Gisela is an excellent host, the place is very nice, with an excellent view of the city. It was like being at home, the cleanliness and order were excellent, it was easy to access, and it was great that it has parking. The area is very quiet and safe to rest after touring the city. The home was very nice and well taken care of. It is the perfect place to stay if you are wanting to stay near the center. We were within walking distance to many markets and convenient stores and the streets were full of many people making it very safe to walk around during the day and night.

We just loved staying here. We got spoiled with our arrival because for an extra charge Alex picked us up from the Leon airport and waked us directly to the house! In saying that, being lost in Guanajuato is a state of mind. 😂 Want to be close to everything walkable, this is the spot ! We enjoyed the location so much. The water was nice and hot. WiFi worked great. The sheets were very nice. The apartment is in the historic center so it is an old building. It had everything we needed for our visit to Guanajuato. We would stay again.

Large apartment close to centro. Lage grocery store (Mega) and laundry service are a few minute walk. Fruit market and Oxxo are steps away. Many street food vendors are also steps away. Apartment is on the 2nd floor with stairs. The apartment is large and has two bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen with a large cooktop & oven (gas), large refrigerator, coffee maker, etc. Weekly cleanings were offered for a small fee. The living room gets full sun in the morning and does not have any shade/window coverings. Window shades would be nice to block the sun, but is not a deal breaker. The apartment has an on demand water heater, providing unlimited hot water. A nice feature. A large roof top deck is off one of the bedrooms which is shaded from late afternoon until sunset. The host provided a ride to and from the airport for a small fee which made check in and check out a breeze. Also, the host speaks very good English.

Good place for going to visite Guanajuato

This apartment was perfect for a weekend getaway. Erika was very responsive and helpful, the apartment was clean, and it is in a great location. Would definitely book again!

Absolutely lovely house, with a great view of the city, and away from the noise of the center. It was the perfect mix of peaceful and accessible. As the crow flies, it's very close to the center, but up a steep hill. The stairs to the neighborhood are even and well-maintained, but mostly we were lazy and took the funicular to and from the Pipila monument, which costs $40 MXN and is a 5 minute walk (plus a few dozen stairs, and a short hill to the house itself). There are lots of snack stalls around El Pipila and some small markets for necessities even closer. Monica and Samuel are wonderful, on-site hosts and helped us out with recommendations, water, and a taxi to the airport. Beds are comfortable, kitchen has everything you need, indoor temperatures were comfortable during a hot June. We loved our time here and would recommend it unequivocally unless you absolutely can't manage stairs, since there's some stairs up to and within the house. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

A little bit of dirt in the bathroom, but otherwise clean. Great location, very quiet. The house had a nice aesthetic and felt safe. Easy access to activities in the city.

I loved the place. The loft has incredible details that made a super difference for us; for example the super quality towels, blankets, and sheets that make you feel at home. The details of the light, with light in the hallway, in the bathroom, small lamps in the headboard, excellent for every need for a day of rest. Light connections everywhere, with usb entrance for phones. The delightful pool, with warm water and excellent hydromassage. We left the car outside the loft and we had no problems, despite the fact that the colony is not very crowded. I'm looking forward to returning!

The place exceeded our expectations, quite wide, lit, tidy and safe. Both Indira and Raúl were always attentive, being extremely friendly.
