Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Guanajuato

I really enjoyed visiting my city after being away for years. The room was both spacious and comfortable. I had a small issue with the fridge, but it was resolved promptly the next day. Communication was very efficient, and the check-in instructions were clear and concise. I wish I could have stayed longer. I absolutely loved the house! Muchas gracias por su hospitalidad. Antonio

La estancia súper bonita, llena de mucha flora y muy ameno el lugar. La limpieza excelente y se duerme tranquilo, muy amplia la casa para sentirse cómodo y a gusto. Llegamos con pequeña de 3 años y estuvo excelente para ellos también gracias a la cuna y periquera que está en la estancia, la presión del agua excelente y los baños amplios al igual que los cuartos y camas. La atención y trato por parte del anfitrión estuvo increíble, siempre atenta a todas nuestras necesidades y muy amable, 100% recomendado el lugar. Muchas gracias por todo ☺️

This house was an absolute gem—full of character and charm, and so much more personal than a standard Airbnb. On top of that, it was spotlessly clean and perfectly located, just a short walk from everything. The highlight was the incredible view over the entire city from the spacious terrace and the top-floor room—the perfect place to start the day. The host was amazing: super responsive (always replied within minutes!) and gave us fantastic recommendations for cultural events, sights, and great places to eat. There are a few quirks, like steep stairs and a nearby bar that plays music in the evening—but the music always stopped by midnight, so it never disturbed us. We absolutely loved our stay and would come back anytime!!

Maritere y Rodrigo fueron unos anfitriones excepcionales y se desvivieron por solucionar cualquier problema que surgiera durante nuestra estancia de un mes, como cuando un vecino nos bloqueó el vehículo y cuando se nos acabó la gasolina. El aire acondicionado fue un salvavidas durante el mes más caluroso del año, y las camas eran muy cómodas. La cocina estaba bien equipada para que pudiéramos preparar comidas con relativa facilidad. Si no fuéramos ya residentes de Guanajuato, ¡nos quedaríamos aquí de nuevo!

Excelente atención de Raúl, atento desde el día anterior, la terraza del lugar es increíble, la casa amplia, con todas las amenidades necesarias para tener una estancia confortable.

We had an amazing experience. The house was amazing in person. The host was so friendly and attentive during our stay. We were able to check in early than expected. We were so appreciative we were able to from our early flight and had small kids. The locals were all so nice and friendly. I will definitely be booking the home again. They also provided lots of information and tourist we could book with and company’s that could pick us up from the airport. Thank you for the amazing experience.

Nuestra estancia en este alojamiento fue maravillosa. El lugar es enorme, mucho más espacioso de lo que esperábamos, lo cual fue una grata sorpresa. Además, es hermoso, con una decoración cuidada y detalles encantadores que hicieron nuestra estancia muy agradable. Lo que más apreciamos fue lo tranquilo que es el lugar, perfecto para relajarse y desconectar. Sin duda, es un espacio muy recomendable para quienes buscan amplitud, belleza y paz.

Great view of magical Guanajuato! it was wonderful to start a day with a breakfast on the terrace. The short journey to get to the place was easier than than expected, used funicular (mainly for the experience)once during our 3 nights stay. Responsive hosts, couldn’t ask for more

Fue como estar en casa, la limpieza y el orden excelente, fue fácil el acceso, y Super bien que cuenta con estacionamiento. La zona es muy tranquila y segura para descansar después de recorrer la ciudad. Quedé fascinado 👌🏾

We just loved staying here. We got spoiled with our arrival because for an extra charge Alex picked us up from the Leon airport and waked us directly to the house! In saying that, being lost in Guanajuato is a state of mind. 😂 Want to be close to everything walkable, this is the spot ! We enjoyed the location so much. The water was nice and hot. WiFi worked great. The sheets were very nice. The apartment is in the historic center so it is an old building. It had everything we needed for our visit to Guanajuato. We would stay again.

Our stay was very enjoyable. The space has been painted in wonderful cheery colours and is very well laid out and clean. Stewart and Marie were very helpful when we had questions regarding transportation etc. and always responded right away.

Great stay in Guanajuato! Erika met me when I arrived and was always quick to respond. Also allowed a flexible checkout which was very nice. Internet was solid at 50/50M or better. Kitchen is a little tight but fine for just me. Quiet location aside from the neighbors dogs but they were easily drowned out with the fan. Apartment is at the top of a steep hill so if you have mobility issues that might be an issue. Personally I enjoyed it though. Guanajuato as a town is awesome though, much better than SMA and Querétaro IMO.

The apartment is a charmer. Yes, drop-dead views of the city day or night. I would have loved a little microwave, but managed with the stove and toaster oven. The place was my retreat. Mery was the best. Came to see me when I got settled. Gave me information about the walk route down to town pointing out a great coffee place on the way, a great breakfast-lunch-dinner restaurant, sites to see, etc. Very sweet host -- like a good friend. She helped me with taxi service arrangements to and from the airport. Huge! That relieved my anxiety of phoning for taxis with my limited Spanish. All in all, Mery and Casa de Colina were a lovely experience and made my stay in Guanajuato very wonderful.

Perfect location in the heart of the city center. And Alejandra was extremely responsive.. when my bus arrived six hours late to Guan. she made arrangements for me to still have a smooth check in.

Absolutely lovely house, with a great view of the city, and away from the noise of the center. It was the perfect mix of peaceful and accessible. As the crow flies, it's very close to the center, but up a steep hill. The stairs to the neighborhood are even and well-maintained, but mostly we were lazy and took the funicular to and from the Pipila monument, which costs $40 MXN and is a 5 minute walk (plus a few dozen stairs, and a short hill to the house itself). There are lots of snack stalls around El Pipila and some small markets for necessities even closer. Monica and Samuel are wonderful, on-site hosts and helped us out with recommendations, water, and a taxi to the airport. Beds are comfortable, kitchen has everything you need, indoor temperatures were comfortable during a hot June. We loved our time here and would recommend it unequivocally unless you absolutely can't manage stairs, since there's some stairs up to and within the house. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

A little bit of dirt in the bathroom, but otherwise clean. Great location, very quiet. The house had a nice aesthetic and felt safe. Easy access to activities in the city.

El anfitrión tiene iniciativa para explicarte lo necesario. Recomiendo a los futuros huéspedes que si llevan auto, lo dejen en todo el tiempo de su estancia en alguna pensión o estacionamiento, aunque los estacionamientos no son muy baratos que digamos. Si dejas tu coche en el estacionamiento cercano (Las Huertas), no le hagas mucho caso a Google Maps cuando le pidas que te lleve al departamento porque te enviará por caminos más largos e innecesarios. En su lugar, toma el camino hacia el túnel y verás que el departamento queda muy muy cerca. Esto no es problema del anfitrión si no de la estructura de las calles en sí. Por último, debo mencionar que sin dudarlo mucho y si no fuera en auto, volvería a hospedarme en este lugar.

Excelente opción para descansar y desconectarte. La ubicación es buena, el departamento está impecable, la atención es increíble.
