wow, what more can you say about this place. it is in the most beautiful location, hidden in the valley with wonderful views either side. Franz and family were lovely and accommodating, really helpful before arrival, and during my stay. I was working remotely for a few days, so did not get to enjoy the local bars and restaurants, but there was a very convenient large supermarket at the bottom of the road. Despite the wet weather, I went on runs and hikes in the area, crossing over the border into Germany, and the surroundings are beautiful. There also appears to be a very reasonable priced swimming pool nearby which i wish i was able to make the most of. Travel on the 180 bus from Salzburg Hbf was also very easy. Being able to enjoy the terrace come rain or sun made the whole stay very peaceful and enjoyable. there is a small kitchen to make some meals, the bedroom and living space is well equipped, and the private bathroom is also very good. Alexandra was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was homely and had everything we needed. It is located in a beautiful setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We would recommend this property. The location is perfect to get away from the busyness of the city and connect with nature. The apartment is located on a working farm. We enjoyed seeing the cows on the property. Keep in mind you definitely need a car to access the property since it’s at the end of a long private road. The apartment presents as new. It is well equipped and very clean. The only downside is that it did not have a microwave. Thomas was a fantastic host, always available to answer questions and provided great recommendations. This apartment is below the residence, but you could not hear any noise. The scenery is absolutely stunning with a beautiful deck to enjoy the surroundings. It was the only accommodation on our trip that was completely dark at night, which we loved. The town has all the amenities, including restaurants and grocery stores.

We had a fantastic time staying in Großgmain. The apartment is located in a peaceful and quiet village, with stunning views of the mountains. Christa was an amazing host and certainly made us feel welcome, she was always on hand and accommodating if we had any questions. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderfully stay.
