We had a lovely stay. The house was clean, comfortable and beautiful. We were staying due to my father’s funeral and it gave us a great place to go back to and relax after stressful days. Our host was very friendly and quick to respond. I recommend this home completely as a wonderful place to stay.

It’s always a pleasure to stay at Carrie’s place when I’m in Carlinville visiting my parents. The little house is so cozy and inviting. Carrie leaves no stone unturned with all the thoughtful touches from cold drinks and snacks to the extra pillows and blankets and even an umbrella! You don’t need to bring a thing other than your clothes, and if you need to wash them, she has an excellent washer and dryer and eco friendly laundry supplies. I always love to stay in the Johnson House!
