The cottage was so cozy and comfortable. Instructions to find it and enter were a breeze. Laura & Dean were responsive and helpfully addressed all my questions. They were accommodating as my check-in time shifted back and forth. The neighborhood was quiet. They even left a package of chocolate chip cookies in the kitchen upon arrival. I would happily book here again.

I spent a lovely few days at Jane’s place which is situated above the garage : a nice-sized room with sofa, tv and fridge where Jane left milk, water and orange juice. There was also much appreciated tea, coffee and biscuits. It’s a quiet area and is a short walk to the centre of Lancaster along the canal. Lovely to meet Jane and Dominic

Holly Cottage was perfect for our short stay in Lancashire to visit family. Super close to Lancaster and Garstang as well as easy access to the motorway. Our golden retriever loved the garden which is ideal if you have a dog in tow due to it being secure.

The Stables is a fantastic little place and Linda is a wonderful host. Linda is friendly, communicative and very helpful beforehand. When we arrived, Linda was on hand to show us around and explain where everything was. There was even a little pot of amazing home-made jam. The cottage is immaculate with an amazing garden. All surrounded by beautiful countryside to watch from the garden. Watch the hares play in the field while the sheep graze and storks fly overhead. There's a great pub just over the road, called...The Stork. Wander past that and you can find great walks to Lancaster or Glasson Docks. This was a wonderful find for us and we'll definitely be back.
