Phil's place was a dream - tucked away from the rest of the world! When you stand in the open doorway of this 1927 log cabin, you'll look out to see only trees around you and the sky above. Turn in and find the wonderfully warm log-burning stove, unique wood detailing in each room, and the charming handmade heart-shaped lock on the door! We loved our long-term stay here, and recommend several places nearby - the Vreeland store for baked goods and great coffee, the Weis center for hiking, dessert at the nearby Soulmate cafe, and Breakbites for delicious tacos! Phil was easy to communicate with, and went above and beyond for us during our stay. He is a great host, with a beautiful place that he has evidently put a great deal of time and care into making as comfortable as possible for guests wanting to stay somewhere out of time and off the beaten path.

Me and the family travel to NJ often to see relatives. And finding Ken's place was a great find. It was 2 blocks away from our relatives. Shops and Restaurants less than a mile away. Quiet peaceful area with lots of people and families walking around. The house had enough rooms and beds for the 4 of us. The full bathroom was small, but perfect for us as we didn't need much more. The only scare for me was the stairs but only because we have a 2 year old who's wild. But aside from that, great place and will definitely stay there again in the future if its available.

Our stay was excellent! Our host Alexander was extremely helpful and accommodating. The house was very clean and well kept. It is a very peaceful and beautiful environment. We most definitely come back to stay. The entire process was easy and convenient. There was lots to do around the lake house from fishing, kayaking and paddle boating. We are giving this Airbnb 5 stars and 5 stars to our wonderful hosts!

Very nice stay for a night while in town to see family in the area.
