Monthly Rentals in Forest Glen

Bertrand's place was very nice and well designed. His response to messages were extremely fast. If you book one of his cabins make sure to book the sauna. It was very private and relaxing. Thank you Bertrand for a wonderful weekend and we hope to return someday.

This spot is one of the best places to stay in nova scotia. It was super private and serene. The scenery was lovely and we loved hearing the birds chirping away. The Tusket river is great for a paddle and the property is close to Yarmouth and surrounding areas. Barrie and Sandra are lovely people with great recommendations, they even had a few gems for us to stop and see along our route home. We are lookkng forward to our next visit at the shack 😀

I don't know if it's the bunk bed effect, or the single bed effect, or a mix of both, but I haven't slept this good since I was a child. It is as calm as you can imagine, and I enjoyed each and every day spent there. I would just say that "off-grid" does not mean "isolated". You can see other houses from the deck, hear kids playing, and some ATVs passing by. Nothing to disturb your stay though, but if you want to mimic into the wild, it's not the right place. For everything else, it's the perfect place, and I would definitely come back.
