Holiday rentals with a patio in Downtown Chicago

My experience with Paul was the best experience I have had booking with Air B and B. His communication was friendly and prompt. He answered all my questions before booking. Upon arriving, his check-in instructions were extremely easy and he explained things throughly. Entering the home was exactly as his pictures showed. Everything was clean and organized. He checked in shortly after our check-in time to make sure everything was up to par and asked if we needed anything. The home was nestled in a residential neighborhood and it was quiet, peaceful and safe. The beds were extremely comfortable which is always a plus when on vacation! I asked him for a couple recommended grocery stores that were close and he gave me great suggestions. All his amenities allowed us to cook at home and enjoy meals as a family. Checkout was super easy. We will defiantly reach out to Paul again when we make it back to Chicago. If I could give more than 5 stars I defiantly would! Highly recommended!

Beautiful apartment in Chicago’s Gold Coast area - lots to do, easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and Oak Street Beach (and a view of the beach from the dining room). Well appointed building with a rooftop pool, gym and lounge. Quiet neighbors on the floor.

Kimberly house was beyond clean and spotless. Exactly what I love when booking a Airbnb. She was very responsive and instructions were very clear. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The crib look exactly like her pictures and super clean! I def would stay here again.

Jim was a fantastic host. Very responsive and timely in his communications and support for our needs during our stay in their place. Their home was comfortable and well appointed with additional amenities you don't often see in AirBnB spaces, like N'espresso appliances and supplies. We would definitely consider repeat visits! Good place to stay, I would definitely stay here again. This place has a security guard downstairs so it feels safe. The unit was clean and easy to get around the city.

He was available without delay and really seemed like a kind person. The location is wonderful whether you're looking for safe and simple stay or a trip into city. Highly recommend!

Lizbeth’s place was a great stay! It was cozy, clean, and had more than enough space for me and my three friends. While it was a little farther from the city center than I initially expected, the neighborhood made up for it with tons of great restaurants nearby—there was always something good to eat just around the corner. Lizbeth was also a fantastic host—very friendly and super responsive whenever we had questions. Would definitely recommend her place to anyone visiting the area!

I loved the little cottage. Quiet neighborhood, felt safe. Restaurants were walkable. Reached out to Marilyn for a breakfast recommendation and checked out bacon and jam, amazing. House was easy to find. Clear instructions. Felt at home.

We stayed one night and were very happy with the accommodations. Lisa was a helpful host and everything was very nice quality and squeaky clean. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was very nice with a big “rain” type showerhead AND a regular size detachable one. The neighborhood and yard area was calm and chickens were very cute! We had some fantastic empanadas at a nearby cafe called La Mulata - definitely recommend. There are a bunch of cool historical buildings nearby too (including the building the cafe is in). FYI since it’s a basement apartment (as advertised) there are a couple spots with slightly lower beams coming down from the ceiling). At 6’2” we were good to walk around without impediment, but I put my hand above my head at the lowest spot and the clearance was only about an inch, so if you are any taller, be careful or you may hit your head! Our hosts were excellent - communicative, welcoming, friendly. We were greeted by Bob who was very laid back and accommodating. He offered good recommendations and amenities during our stay. The space is perfect for large groups and certainly impresses with its charm and personality. The neighborhood is walkable to the Blue Line and many bars/restaurants. Overall 10/10 a perfect stay and would absolutely book again in the future.

The host and team were very communicative. The space was beautiful with high ceilings , clean, spacious, and well equipped.

Place was great. Clean and well laid out with plenty of room. Enjoyed our stay. Location was further than we thought from our places we planned to visit. They were cutting down and grinding a tree first thing Saturday morning. Convenient cafe right around corner had good breakfast food and coffee. Ubers were fast getting us and to where we needed to go. Parked car and left all weekend. Neighborhood was a little rough with homeless and panhandlers but they left us alone. Great walks to Soldier field and Northern Island. Alex provided all the amenities you need plus some Heinkens to cool us down. We had no issues so we did not need to contact Alex at all but yoyu got to remember the location is on 17 Place not Street so we almost walked into the wrong house and when the dog started barking at us we knew something was up. LOL!!!

Everything went well. Place was very nice and the host was very responsive when I needed help and accommodative as well. Highly recommend if needed a place near downtown.

One of my favorite Aibnbs of all time. The location is FUN - right in the center of the action in Northalsted. The space itself is beautiful and clean. The bedrooms are spacious, and the kitchen is well equipped. Allan was awesome and left us a bottle of prosecco to welcome us. Best part of the house is the huge covered front balcony - a front row seat to the joyous crowds, especially on the weekend. We saw a concert, walked to a Cubs game, spoiled the kids on Michigan Ave - and everyone agreed the balcony was our fave part of the trip. The rear deck is icing on the cake. We were in town so our kids could go to a concert and they also loved the area. If you're sensitive to noise, bring earplugs - all the action brings a bit of music - but really it's a steady din so super easy to tune out at bedtime. We love this place and can't wait to come back!

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb during our Chicago trip! The location was perfect — close to everything we wanted to see and do with our kids. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and exactly as described. It felt like a home away from home. Check-in was smooth, and the host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend for families or anyone visiting the city!

We had a great stay for an extended wedding weekend with our entire family. Adrian's home was clean, modern, and well appointed. The beds were all very comfortable and linens were very soft. We felt very safe and the garage parking spot was a nice addition. I would highly recommend his home and would not hesitate to rebook there in the future.

We enjoyed our time at this apartment! Nestled in the Bucktown neighborhood of the city, which is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful homes. Nearby Wicker Park and Logan Square have a lot to offer, as well as Lincoln Park (the neighborhood) not being too far away either. While the bedroom and bathroom are on the smaller side, that’s just city life and it is a perfect retreat for 1-2 people. It’s very stylish yet cozy with the decor and all updated appliances and bathroom. I would take note of the stairs for this unit in particular, as it’s on the second level but they were fine and the patio deck was nice! We really appreciated Lauren being accommodating to our late booking. We would definitely stay here again!
