Holiday rentals with lake access in Downtown Chicago

Rasheed was very attentive. His home is in an excellent location, walking distance to resturants and shopping. The rooftop provided a spectular view of the city. I would definitely recommend Rasheed's home on a trip to Chicago!

Our party was comprised of 5 adults. We had enough space to spread out and relax between events. The kitchen was very clean and there were snacks and beverages which was very nice. The deck off the kitchen was lovely. There was a welcome binder with lots of information about the neighborhood. The location was well situated; the neighborhood was quiet and very pretty to walk around in. We were able to walk to a restaurant for breakfast each day. My sons walked to Wrigley Field for a Cubs game. The only drawback for me were the stairs which were hard on me as I have a bad ankle. All said, I would highly recommend this listing to others, Robert and Sue were available and were great hosts.

This house was just as described on the website. It was in a great location. The house is beautiful and clean. Walking distance to Wrigley, many restaurants and also the train. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had the best stay in Old Town! The Airbnb was wonderful and spacious for our family.

Very comfy apartment in a great neighborhood. We were in town for a baseball game and it’s a terrific place for that, just about a 20-minute walk to Wrigley Field. The only thing to be concerned about is the stairs: there are two flights to get into the apartment and they’re fairly steep and small, so if you have mobility issues that would be a concern. I don’t and had no problem. Karen is a lovely host and was very helpful when I was getting into the place and unloading my stuff from my car. There are tons of restaurants and coffee shops in the area, so it’s a great place to explore and hang out.

The moment I walked in, it feels like home! The house is very nicely decorated, and it has everything you need to have a very comfortable stay. The kitchen is well stocked and she even has a basketball for my kid to play with in the court right in front of the house. She even welcomes the guests with a nice bar of chocolate , card and fresh flowers! We will stay here again if we visit Evanston!

This was a fantastic find! My whole party loved the place. It was clean and wonderfully located in a peaceful neighborhood close enough to transport to walk but far enough from the noise and bustle of downtown. Shawn was very responsive to any questions I had and was super kind and friendly! I absolutely would stay here again!!

Amy is an excellent host! She was so proactive about reaching out ahead of time and checking in on us. The unit was extremely clean! Easiest check in I have had with Airbnb—clear/specific directions. Amy was also super accommodating with our checkout time—we had a late flight (7:45pm) and we were able to check out at 5pm instead of noon which allowed us to maximize the last day of our trip! SO close to Loyola beach and has easy access to public transit. There are just a few improvements that would make this a perfect Airbnb: 1) the mattress is uncomfortable (extremely firm), 2) there is a beautiful kitchen but it is not well stocked with the basics (strainer, cooking utensils, pots, etc)—we made do by getting a little creative! Not a problem if you plan on eating out the whole time. 3) A few end tables would be nice for setting a glass of water/coffee etc, 4) needs a few more towels for being so close to the beach! Nonetheless, I would love to stay again and highly recommend!!

Thank you for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Place felt like home. Quiet and quiet neighborhood had all the necessities. Easy access to local stores nearby, convenient location less than 10 minutes from downtown and host was a great person very responsive. I would highly recommend.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable and it was great that they had amenities for a baby as we stayed here with our daughter and baby grandson. This apartment is in a great location in Lincoln Park. Buena North Deli is a short walk away as well as other markets. Cedar Palace Lebanese restaurant is just across the street (great food and great service) with other nice restaurants just a short walk away. Armitage station was walkable and we used the train everyday to get around in Chicago. Michael, the host, provided great instructions and recommendations for the area. He was very responsive made sure we had what we needed. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Chicago.

Beautiful location and well furnished. No complaints, surrounding folks in the community are friendly. Tap into Mores Liquor very friendly staff gave me the tips and tricks in the area and what to do. Thank you Cozy Nest for hosting my wife and I! Much Appreciated!!

Comfortable, homey place for our group of five. Great back deck for outdoor time. Wonderful neighborhood with lots of shops and restaurants. Good beds.

I've stayed at many Airbnbs, and this is among the best. Kenan describes it as minimal, but it has everything you need. I've rarely stayed somewhere where I didn't at least have to provide my own of something, and I appreciate Kenan for his attention to the basic needs we all have when traveling. I used to live in this neighborhood, and it was great to be right back. If you're a tourist wondering if you should stay so far from downtown, you're better off experiencing real Chicago from a real (and awesome) neighborhood next to a beach and steps from the express bus to downtown.
