We found that the place was exactly as described. Everything was very good. We loved your recliners out on the back, looking out the sliding glass doors overlooking the lake. It was very peaceful calm. We were able to get one fire in on Friday night. At the campfire was so peaceful and quiet and serene. Looking across the lake at the cabins with their lights on was just a beautiful relaxing time. We want to thank Barry and Shirley very much and I’m about 99% sure that we will be back again. Thanks again.

This choice was at the high end of our shopping, but did not disappoint. The hosts go out of their way to make sure their guests are taken care of. They do provide some coffee & tea to get you started, but you do need to bring any other groceries with you at the start. We stopped before arriving to get dinner, beverages, and morning supplies to tide us over to our main shopping. They have moved into the electronic age (successfully). A little of a learning curve, but made our visit enjoyable. Loved no key or lock box, streaming tv, Keurig, modern laundry, great wifi, remotes (and they all worked). Didn't take advantage of Alexa. And the smokeless fire pit is AWESOME. The actual home earns its Lakehouse name with a view of the lake -so relaxing. This was truly what made our trip. Quiet & serene. We are looking forward to our next visit that they have their lake access available (which was a temp.situation). Lakehouse was the retreat that revived our Northcountry activities.

Deborah responded quickly to our request. She was very accomodating to our needs and proactive in offering assistance. She and Joe made us feel right at home. The space is beautiful, with big windows looking out on the lake, all new decor, comfortable mattress (so much so that I tried to see who made it), perfect pillows. The kitchen was nicely laid out and the glassware and plates were classy and modern. We would definitely return to her apartment when staying in the area. Highly recommended.

From the first communication to the last, Stephen was responsive, helpful, and a gracious host. The home was super clean with plenty of space. We had 7 people with us, and there was room for everyone to relax comfortably. Even on the rainy days. The bed was comfy, and the sheets wee soft. The fire pit in the back yard got plenty of use during our stay. It was so nice to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air and hear the birds chirping away. We also took advantage of the kayak and canoe, which we enjoyed very thoroughly. The lake was beautiful. I wish we had more time there.
