Cute little place in the small town of Middlesboro Within minutes to LMU with clean and comfortable furnishing and linens and helpful information about the area in a book.

We loved our time staying at the Inn above Angelo’s. This was a repeat stay for me and my family and we were not disappointed. Large property with plenty of room to spread out and relax, complete with a pool table. We enjoyed sitting in the sun on the back deck overlooking Cumberland Gap, could see the mountains from the deck. We also enjoyed ordering room service from downstairs Angelo’s in the Gap. The pizza was phenomenal and they brought it right to our door. The location is perfectly located, in downtown Cumberland gap. In addition to the bar and restaurant right downstairs, we were a 2 minute walk to the Gap Creek Coffeehouse and several other dining options. There were recreational opportunities all around us. We enjoyed strolling through town in the evening and enjoying the area’s beauty. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful, very easy to access the property. Checkout was also a breeze. Overall, this was a great stay and we look forward to coming back again.

We loved staying here! Serene setting and quiet atmosphere. I was able to enjoy birdwatching on the front porch and discovered a tufted titmouse and a red winged hawk! We will definitely try to stay next year!

We stayed at Miranda’s place as a stopping point from Chicago to Charlotte. It was perfect for what we needed. We have a dog that has stranger danger issues, so being in a remote location with privacy was great! The only issue was that due to storms the previous days, we had no internet, so couldn’t get ahold of family easily to let them know we made it— I did learn you can send texts via satellite which was wild! Miranda does say in her listing that this happens and she texted me ahead of time that the internet wasn’t working. Otherwise, everything was just fine!
