Cabin holiday rentals in Cumberland Gap

Amanda's cabin was incredible. This cabin was exactly what we were looking for; something authentic, peaceful, and private. We checked out many things around Knoxville, Pigeon Forge, and the Tri-city area (NE TN), all of which were an hour or less. Great location! Would highly recommend this place!

I just happened upon this place looking at possibilities in the area, and I'm so glad I did. Honestly, I had booked another place and stayed 1 night and decided we were gonna look for something else. The greatest selling point of this place is when you walk into the front door and turn to your right and you see the view looking out across the lake, it's almost breathtaking, no joke. My daughter said it's the most beautiful place we've ever stayed in. I loved the pool table, the old Pac-man and Galaga console, the flat screen tvs all around, the hot tub around the back side. I wish we could have stayed longer. Denis was very helpful. I needed to extend our stay another day and he helped me get it figured out. My mistake was something I had to fix quickly, and Denis responded right away. He also gave some clear instructions to me about front door code, wi-fi password, and instructions on check-in and check-out. We had a great time and we plan to go back for a longer stay. My husband and I needed some quiet time and that’s what we got. If we wanted to shop or eat out, it was a short drive to pigeon forge or Gatlinburg. We enjoyed the peaceful lake view. We definitely would stay here again.

The place was wonderful! It’s the perfect combination of rustic and cozy, with beautiful views of the Smokes. My husband and I definitely felt at home durning our stay. We had a wonderful time unplugging, and feeling like we were away from others, but less then 10 minutes from the local Walmart, for those last minute forgot to packs! Jeff is a great host, and gets back in a timely matter.

Orchard Mountain view is a great option for a mid-size crew looking to explore the local area in and around Ride Royal, Tackett creek. Home is thought out well and appropriately equipped. Great views from the rear deck of home. Would be phenomenal during the fall months. Was very comfortable four our party of six. Would definitely consider it again if we return to this area to ride. Driveway was able to handle our equipment trailer with some creative driving. I would like to see a regular propane grill instead of a blackstone but that is just my preference to BBQ. Did have visits a couple nights from local wildlife so it is necessary to appropriately store trash. I think a steel trash encloser would be a nice addition. Would just have to be creative as how to make it blend into the beautiful surroundings.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Felt like we were the only ones on the mountain - no cars, no people. I choose this place because of the two recliners. Seating isn't always the most comfortable in some airbnb's. Had the comforts of home. Very communicative host. Will stay again if we travel to the area.

This is an exceptional destination. Absolutely beautiful and the river was very relaxing to hear. The mountains and the animals we saw were an added bonus. It is everything and more than we were hoping for. We will absolutely return.

River retreat was quaint tiny home, but don’t let it size fool you. It was packed with all the amenities that one would need for a quick weekend getaway. With the river, a short trot away and kayaks readily available you wouldn’t be spending much time inside the house anyway. Alicia was excellent host and made sure we had everything we needed.

The pictures just dont do this place justice. The cabin was beautiful, the nature was peaceful. Our 3 year old and 15 year old enjoyed the out doors so much. Would recommend.

Beautiful place. Very cutesy. The hosts are very helpful as my dog had gotten free and ran off and they were friendly as he came running to them. Since their home is at the end of the driveway, anything we needed was easy to access. The host also made sure to check on things we might need due to our longer than usual stay. Evenings were so peaceful in the beauty of the secluded forest during out stay.

Wendy was amazing! We lost power throughout the night and she was in constant contact with us. She was also extremely flexible and her property was absolutely stunning. 10/10.

Sweet little cabin with a lovely view of the river. Amanda even had it all decorated for Christmas! It was super cold during our stay and the cabin stayed nice and toasty warm. Bed was divinely comfortable. Amanda was great to deal with and even left us fresh eggs. A couple of notes for potential guests..the driveway is extremely steep. We have a big 4wd vehicle but a 2wd car might find it challenging. Also FYI, restaurants that serve alcohol are few and far between in the area, so if you are looking for a cocktail with dinner, you will struggle.

Perfect location for WindRock! Perfect for my son and I for a MTB race weekend! Meant more for a larger group so price was a little high for two of us. But place was perfect and very private. Encountered a downed tree in driveway when returning one time. Owner responded immediately and took care of it quickly!

Perfect place for my husband’s family yearly reunion, the house is an old country home, that’s what my husband and sisters loved the most. There is a barn, like an old small church, they were amazed by it, they spent a good time there singing hymns and praising. Lovely and memorable time for the family. The perfect spot! Fantastic historic property tucked away in a private setting, yet close to town and modern amenities; hosts were excellent in communication and hospitality. Definitely on our list of places to revisit.

Fun place to stay if you are in the area. Great attention to details. spacious and comfortable!

This cabin was the most wonderful place I've ever stayed. Nathan was super helpful and so nice. I didn't feel comfortable driving my suv up the mountain after going halfway up it already lol. I called Nathan and he came to my rescue and drove it up and then let us use his UTV for the whole stay. I did not want to leave. I can't wait for my next stay at this cabin! Thank you Nathan!!
