A very nice accommodation in a very nice village, on the edge of the estuary. Very clean, nicely decorated, with an outdoor plancha, a garden, a few chickens (in an enclosure) and a few cats that you will meet at random. Very discreet and very friendly owners. A tavern (Ma zo li) has recently opened just opposite (Thursday to Sunday): possibility of eating grilled meat or fish, mussels on Friday evening, having a drink, in a wooded place. At very affordable prices. The accommodation is ideally located for visiting Meshers, Talmont sur Gironde, Royan, Mornac sur Seudre, Mortagne sur Gironde (port).

Thank you for your welcome and for the time spent at your house. Everything was as described but doesn’t do the house justice. Everything was so clean and to a high standard. After a day exploring it was nice to come back and relax on the veranda overlooking the garden taking in the wonderful scents from the flowers. We would love to visit again when we are in the area

Typical accommodation of the region (leaning against the cliff) very neat, with views of the port of Mortagne from a very pleasant terrace. Very well equipped. Makes you want to come back. Small drawback: No shops in the immediate vicinity (on foot). You have to go up to the village to access it.
