Holiday rentals with lake access in Albemarle Sound

This was a fabulous find at the right price in Duck, close to town and an easy drive to Corolla. The house is basic and comfortable. Cheri responded quickly, and was very easy to work with.

Dana and her co Host was amazing we had the best few days of vacation possible in the outer banks 100% recommend Dana’s place we will for sure be back next year and anytime we go to obx !

Joseph was very communicative and provided clear instructions for check-in through check-out. Quick to respond with any issues and helpful throughout the duration of stay. Would recommend to anyone!

Lots of space, clean, and beautiful. There were discounts for a number of local businesses, and the location was perfect for beach access. Neighborhood was quiet and safe.

The home was clean and instructions were very easy to follow. Since we were looking for a peaceful location on this trip, it fit the bill. The view was worth the cost. We knew there would be others around, as it was described accurately and clearly as a condo community. Supplies were very sufficient for us, and the owners were responsive. Enjoyed this trip!

My partner and I spent a peaceful week in this cozy spot. Very clean and well equipped for cooking and relaxing :) We especially enjoyed hanging out on the dock by the water and eating meals in the screened-in outdoor space. The surrounding neighborhood was very friendly as well. Rob was an excellent host and addressed any and all inquiries in a timely manner. Would definitely stay here again if you're looking for a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of the more "quintessential" obx beach towns. Not a bad drive to Duck / Kitty Hawk either.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Roberta's Cottage @ Muddy Creek. Very relaxing, very beautiful. Roberta was extremely accommodating, the cottage met & exceeded our expectations. We were pleasantly surprised to to have everything stocked from the fresh clean linens, a washer & dryer and even down to the coffee, so we could enjoy a cup first thing in the morning on the cute porch swing. We had hoped to take the kayaks out on the water but we ran into some friends and had a late dinner instead. We can't wait to come back again the next time we visit the area. Definitely #1 on our list of places to stay. Thank you!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was incredibly clean, cozy, and welcoming exactly what I was hoping for. From the moment I walked in, I felt right at home. The thoughtful touches throughout made it clear the hosts really care about creating a great guest experience. It was also perfect for the price—a great value for such a comfortable and well-kept place. From beginning to end this cottage is off the charts. Cute, unique, functiinal, confortable, well organized, thoroughly supplied and the location is private and beautiful.

This place was perfect for our family when we stayed. The room upstairs was adorable and worked out fantastic for my 2 younger boys, there was a pullout bed in the couch for when they wanted to sleep downstairs. The entire place was cute and clean, the area is quiet and calm with a beautiful view of the sound. I would recommend this place if you're looking to unwind and relax.

The location was wonderful. We really enjoyed the dock and watched several amazing sunsets. The house was comfortable and the kitchen had just about all that we needed.
