Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Albemarle Sound

Beautiful home with well maintained pool n hot tub. Had a great time with volleyball and cycling. Close to reach lot of places near outer banks. Only thing i would suggest is replacing the grill. Board games and game room is like a cherry on top. My family is very satisfied and wants to return every summer.

If you are looking for a quiet, beautiful and homie place to stay, I definitely recommend this house. Robyn was very attentive, clear with communication and helpful with everything. The house is also full amenities from the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms to even the grill outside. This place was a 5 out of 5 for me and our friends who visited!

This was our second year at Serene Retreat. It’s just such a wonderful place for young children to enjoy the beach. The fenced in yard is great for their outdoor play. We enjoy cooking in the fabulous kitchen and feasting at the table with a view. Better than any restaurant around! Thank you again.

We loved our stay at Serendipity! It was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. We had tickets to see The Lost Colony in Manteo, and this place was much more reasonable than staying in Manteo. The location can’t be beat. It’s right on the water, quiet and peaceful. It was also a short drive to downtown Edenton. Georgianne made us feel right at home. We would definitely stay here again!

Really enjoyed our stay in the outer banks. Travis was super responsive and helpful and check in/check out was painless. House was well stocked with everything we could need and was very clean on arrival. Coffee shop was less than a block away, which was nice in the morning. Beach was just a few blocks away and the access had a ramp, which was nice for the wagon and stroller. No ramp on the beach side but if you go down one more access to Admiral, there is a flat beach entry. Back yard area with fire pit and grill was great for relaxing. We will definitely be staying here again next time we are in the outer banks.

What a wonderful place to stay! It is such a peaceful neighborhood and a great location. It is close to everything in Manteo, but set back from the hustle and bustle. The yard was big with a large deck, and a fire pit to sit outside. The kitchen and living room were spacious enough for our family to gather and enjoy each other’s company. Also, the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals, the bedrooms were roomy, and the beds were super comfy. It was a lovely home away from home! We had a fantastic time and look forward to going back!

I highly recommend this place. Quiet and peaceful yet close to everything. I’m looking forward to returning. The host was wonderful and has great recommendations.

We loved this space! We stayed the night for a concert in the area and were able to walk to and from the venue which was awesome! We got to the space and everything was very nice and felt like home! Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Heather and Tom were wonderful hosts and even more wonderful people. From start to finish, they made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Casa de la Luz is truly a gem: immaculately clean, thoughtfully decorated, and full of charm. The neighborhood is peaceful and relaxing, with the beach just a short walk away. When I return to OBX, checking Heather and Tom’s availability will be my first priority.

Great place to stay! Easily walkable to Hatteras Village and a public beach access point. If you are wanting access to public bathrooms while enjoying the beach, I recommend doing the 5 min drive to Frisco beach. Plenty of free parking available even when we arrived later in the afternoon. The beach was quiet and not crowded at all. We would definitely come back.

This is our second time staying here and it was just as wonderful and clean as the first. It’s convenient to our family and restaurants! By far the cleanest place we’ve stayed! I love that there are snacks for guests as well as a little “coffee” bar! We are looking forward to next year!

This was my first stay through Airbnb and it was a great experience! Monica was a wonderful host. She stayed in contact with us giving us helpful directions for a smooth check in and check out. Very clean, cozy feeling space.

If you’re looking to get away and unplug and just listen to the sound of the water and relax, this is the perfect place. it’s very remote. The view on the dock and the deck is amazing and surreal. A perfect place for a getaway to recharge. Only suggestion is to do your shopping for the house before you go to the property as it is a little distance from everything. But overall, an amazing place would definitely book again.

We had a great time ! She was very responsive and answered any questions we had ! Very private area and its only a hour from emerald isle beach! Would definitely recommend this cabin for a couple or small group of friends who want to relax!

Don’t miss out on the fire pit. Something about a fire with your family by the water…it’s truly magical. I highly recommend this place. You won’t be disappointed. Kathy is kind and accommodating. Andrew was a super friendly and accommodating host! The house is very spacious and peaceful! We came to stay just to relax in nature for a couple days and it was perfect for our needs!

Our 3-night stay at Legacy Lodge Bunkhouse in Windsor, NC, was a delightful escape to celebrate my wife’s and son’s birthdays. The bunkhouse kept our two kids entertained with games, toys, an air hockey table, and bunk beds our son adored. Outside, a mini paradise awaited: multiple fire pits (unlimited wood for $30, highly recommended), play areas, and a covered concrete space perfect for rollerblading and scootering. We enjoyed the wood-fired pizza oven and grilled steaks, though the propane grill needs a deep clean. The thoughtful birthday gifts and decorations for our son, plus a “Honk, it’s my birthday!” sign by host Deena (explaining the passing cars’ honks), added such a warm touch. This peaceful retreat is ideal for families or anyone seeking serenity. We’d absolutely recommend it!

Dragon and his property are truly unique. He provided not just one, but two personal numbers as soon as the booking was confirmed! Despite my late arrival due to a nasty storm, he stayed up to ensure I arrived safely. He encouraged me to relax and not to worry about a specific checkout time. While the cabin is simple, it provides a safe and dry shelter for sleep. The grounds are free for guests to enjoy as they wish. I enjoyed my morning as I played some music and cooked breakfast on the provided stove. As the sun rose and the birds sang. Although I brought everything one could need. There is plenty provided for such a reasonable price. Dragon's property, though simple, felt like a haven. From the moment I arrived, to the moment I left, I felt at peace.
