This property is exactly as described and as the pictures show. It is lovely inside and out. It is extremely clean and well appointed. The off street parking allowed more than enough room for our Yukon XL. The neighborhood is very quaint and felt very safe. Gia, the host, responded to my late day request to stay at the property very promptly. When we travel to this area in the future we will seek out this property again for our stay.

Beautiful home with well maintained pool n hot tub. Had a great time with volleyball and cycling. Close to reach lot of places near outer banks. Only thing i would suggest is replacing the grill. Board games and game room is like a cherry on top. My family is very satisfied and wants to return every summer.

This was such a wonderful experience! The house was beautiful and spacious, and the host is so generous and thoughtful 😊 so thankful for all accommodations and a very helpful/resourceful host. There's a reason why this place stays booked!! If you're looking for a special vacation, this is the one! I'd love to come back next year ❤️

Me and my family loved our stay. The pool and hot tub was great and lots of fun, we didn’t expect how deep it was. The mini golf course is a good time as well. There was so much to enjoy at the house we barely had time to go to the beach. And the host and owner were extremely friendly, and helpful.

Michael was an excellent host. The place was exactly as described. It has a beautiful fenced yard where our dogs were able to run when we were home. Very short walk to a clean, gorgeous beach. The house is comfortable and has all of the amenities we needed for our stay. The restaurant across the street had great food and cocktails, and we were only a short drive to anything in Duck or Corolla. I also cannot thank Michael enough for his communicativeness and understanding when we made a scheduling snafu. Truly an MVP. We would love to stay here again in the future and highly recommend Lowood Cottage.

Katherine’s place checked all the boxes and was given a five star review! The location is right across from the beach, her place was super super clean and absolutely beautiful on the inside!! The space is very quiet. I did not hear any neighbors I would highly recommend Katherine’s place.!!

Great location and home for our friends with family trip! The pool and backyard was the perfect hangout and the beach was a quick walk away. Very comfortable for 3 families all with kids! Grateful our fur babies could join as well! Travis was very communicative and helpful. Highly recommend this spot!

10/10. What an incredible part of America. Quiet, safe, serene and an impeccably appointed home, with every need satisfied. I have stayed in dozens of VRBO's and Airbnb's across the country and this is the very best one ever.

Scenic views, relaxing stay. Great fishing from the dock and stunning sunsets over the Sound. We had a great time watching dozens of hummingbirds at the feeders over morning coffee on the deck. Kids had plenty of yard to play in and had a blast with the Pokémon chess set and the bunk beds. Thanks for a great stay!

Nestled in the heart of the Inner Banks, this home offers the perfect blend of peace, comfort, and natural beauty. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we needed—from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy linens and thoughtful touches throughout. The views were absolutely breathtaking—sunrises over the water, gentle breezes, and the kind of quiet that soothes the soul. Our days were filled with playing in the lush backyard, reading on the deck, and exploring charming nearby towns. We had a wonderful stay at Edgewater for a weekend. The house was beautiful and immaculately clean. The view from the deck and yard was beautiful and very peaceful with the water, gardens, and lots of wildlife to see. Alan and Nora are super friendly and so accommodating. They have truly thought of everything and have provided so many fun things for guests to enjoy! We just wish we could have stayed longer.

It is a very quiet and restful place. Great for reading a book or studying. The water in back was rough and not really user friendly per se, but lovely to see. Great sunsets. Grocery store in Columbia was very nice. There are no beaches at all unless we missed them.

Check-in was smooth and the host was friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily enjoy the area and unwind. We loved our quick getaway to Gina's cottage. The backyard was DREAMY with the chairs and hammock. The place was spotless and felt cozy. She has games, activities and good amenities.

Wonderful place to be. It’s kind of hard to get into the location off the main road and hard to spot but it’s a wonderful place once you get in. Clean and comfortable and private!

We had a great stay in Merry Hill. Kate was very responsive and helpful. Jordan's Retreat was definitely a retreat for our family. The house was very clean and we had everything we needed, with some nice extra touches. Indoors and out, there are many places to rest and relax. The river is lovely and we enjoyed taking the kayaks out. It was so peaceful. The location is good and the drive to the Outer Banks is easy and makes a nice day trip. Nearby Edenton is a beautiful town with cute shops and nice coffee shops & restaurants.

Dana’s place was lovely - clean, relaxing, and well equipped. The condo was in a convenient location - near the beach and shopping. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Key Lime was perfect. My daughter brought her dog and had a great time in the dog park We all enjoyed the pool / hot tub. But this place was so clean and quiet. We went on 2 walks a day every direction went was beautiful. Any time of day you could set outside and hear yourself think Definitely was a different experience at the OBX. In a great way!!!! We will be back👍👍

Meredith’s place was absolutely perfect. The beach was within close walking distance, private, and the waters there were calmer than other parts of OBX I’ve been to which was perfect for my toddler to play in. The Airbnb was super clean and had many amenities. The beds were very comfy, and I could tell she put in extra thought to make sure the Airbnb would be a peaceful getaway. We hope to be back soon!

Beautiful spot to get away for a weekend. The water off the dock was shallow and more protected than the OBX beaches; perfect for swimming with kids or launching a paddleboard. Quick drive to Coinjock Marina, which had great food! Very peaceful little spot on the water. Would definitely consider staying again!

Oyster Point was such a beautiful place to stay. We loved everything about our experience and were extremely impressed with how clean and put together the house was. It is the perfect place for a weekend getaway. Annette does a wonderful job with making Oyster Point feel like home, and we were very happy with the welcome gift she provided. We will definitely be coming back!

One quick note for future guests: while the listing says “entire home,” it’s actually the second floor of the house with a private entrance. This didn’t affect our stay much, but I wanted to mention it for full transparency. We still were able to enjoy the homes amenities like the fenced in yard! We left feeling rested and grateful—and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend!
