What a lovely cabin in lovely surroundings. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well equipped. Lots of additional touches, especially for our 4 legged friends 🐾 It’s a shame we only had 1 night as it’s so peaceful and a perfect base for exploring the area. A genuinely warm and friendly welcome from Carol and Alex. Very stylish yet simple wee Bothy but with everything you needed. True to its name it really was a lovely retreat. Peaceful inside and out. So relaxing! Appreciated the absence of a TV and clock! Lovely wild flowers on the table and wee treats to spoil us. Wood burner does a fantastic job of warming the space. Highly recommend! Thank you SO much!

A comfortable house with everything a guest would like. Plenty of space. Good size bedrooms, a spacious kitchen with dining area & a very large sitting room. Quiet & peaceful area. Great location for exploring lots of different places. This was my second stay at Oak Cottage & it's been perfect for a stay on both trips. Many thanks to the hosts.
