I just really thought this was a truly beautiful place. The hosts were so kind, and their Superhost status is no mistake. They helped me with everything and I am so grateful. This a beautiful place to stay in the midst of winding blue and white passageways. Even after a month of walking each day I did not see it all. I stayed here in Ras Jebel mostly during Ramadan and got to experience the different schedules of Ramadan and then the beginning of Shawwal, which was like two very different modes of civilization. There was a moment during this stay where I was reading an online forum where some Americans were sadly saying, "I just miss the old days when you could hear birds chirping and children playing outside." At the same moment I could hear birds chirping and children playing outside in Ras Jebel. And I just really felt grateful to be in this world. God is great. The view was absolutely stunning, the perfect place to unwind and truly disconnect. A peaceful escape from the noise of everyday life. Khalil, the concierge, was very responsive and helpful, which made the stay even more comfortable
