Antoinio's apartment is indeed a quirkily arty and comfortable oasis above the historical centre of Palermo. Quiet and sunny in the day, one step away from buzzing friendly bars at night. And the host is as friendly and helpful as described. The place has a homely feel that competes with Palermo's many sites and draws you back "home" for a siesta or early night and makes it worth climbing the 132 steps of the magnificent entry stairs. We spent 8 days here and it is somewhere we would like to go back if we find ourselves in Palermo again. It sleeps four, but probably works best for a couple or three-four very good friends that don't mind sharing a bedroom, as there not really are any "private" rooms (apart from the bathroom! :)”
