Guest house holiday rentals in Netherlands

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Astrid and Thijs are fantastic hosts – incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. They gave us lots of great tips on what to see and do in the area, which really enhanced our trip. Their beautiful garden is the perfect place to relax. The accommodation was spotless and flawless. We truly had a great time and would love to come back!

We felt very comfortable with Esther in the studio. Everything was super and straightforward. I highly recommend this place for Domburg.

Liesbeth is a very nice, caring hostess. We were warmly welcomed in a beautiful private cottage at the end of a beautiful garden on the edge of the forest. The cottage has a beautiful, private garden with a cozy terrace, where you can sit and enjoy the sounds of the forest. The area is beautiful! You can go straight into the forest. We really enjoyed it!

We had a very nice stay at Ton's place. Very quiet place, perfect to rest and to discover Nordholland, its mills and its polders.

Had a lovely (and rainy!) evening :) Even more amenities than expected and felt extremely comfortable. Loved meeting the chickens and the breakfast display. Jaap was very kind and we appreciate his time and help. Thank you for helping us start our Dutch adventure peacefully!

Once again we had wonderful days, nice cottage, lovely countryside, great with the cows in front of the door. Nice sweet dogs and Johan and Froukje are super nice people.

Tatjana is a very warm hostess, she showed us the house and gave us many tips for the area. Our 3-night stay at Tatjana's house was very nice. There was nothing missing. Communication was also flawless. Tatjana reacted very quickly and you felt very well taken care of. The location right next to the lighthouse (good orientation aid😊) was simply fantastic. It was very quiet and yet you were 2 minutes away from the beach or the shopping mile with many shops, restaurants and cafes. We were also very happy about the private parking. We highly recommend this sweet accommodation and would be happy to come back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lammert and Corina’s fabulous accommodation. It was so peaceful, private and with clear and open views from the property. Lammert and Corina are really friendly and helpful and their advice on things to do and see in Friesland helped us to make the most of our stay. We can wholeheartedly recommend a stay at this excellent accommodation.

I was really touched by the host's kindness. Thanks to the host who came out to greet me in person and warmly welcomed me when I checked in, the start of my trip was even more pleasant. The bedding was very comfortable, so I was able to sleep deeply, and the cleanliness of the entire accommodation was very clean and great. Above all, the village where the accommodation is located is so beautiful that I felt healed throughout my stay. The three of us stayed there for 4 nights and felt very comfortable. Communication with Jesse was fast, friendly and smooth. It is a bungalow at the back of the house with a small private terrace. The location is optimal if you want to explore the surrounding area. The beach is 5-10 minutes away by bike. Shopping is also nearby. Leiden is only a good 10+ km away, Amsterdam can be reached in about 40 minutes by car.

We spent a few days in this accommodation and they were too short. Quiet environment, beautiful Airbnb. Comfortable bed. There were games available to keep you busy. It was just an all-round successful stay. Communication was great!

The accommodation is very lovingly beautifully furnished and the communication is just as warm. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back. Nature and the opportunity to discover it is wonderful. There are great books in the accommodation.

We had a great week staying at Maison d'Hotes. The space is really nicely converted, very comfortable beds and lots of interesting decor. And as the hosts have animals, we had lots of nice interactions with goats, chicks, ducks and more. The village is very pretty, too. Expect to have to drive a bit to reach days out, but the Netherlands are not big. We used park and ride (P+R) to reach Utrecht. Thanks Emmanuelle!

We were pleasantly surprised by the coziness of the cottage, including the outdoor environment. Unfortunately, we could not enjoy the outdoors due to the bad weather. Furnishing is very complete, including all kinds of crockery, possibilities to cook for yourself, herbs, oil etc. was all present. Nice that there were also games and plenty of reading material (magazines, books). Marjelle welcomed us and also let us know that she or her husband were available in case of questions. We had received a good tip for a cafe nearby! Marjelle had arranged breakfast for 2 days and that was fine!! Bread, yogurt, baked rolls, bread toppings (savory and sweet), apple juice, fruit, muesli -- it was all available! Great shower, very clean and plenty of hot water!!! We can only be positive. The only thing we missed was an extra chair for the dining table; probably because of the space, there were 2 chairs and an additional 2 stools.

We had a wonderful stay in the lovingly furnished guest house. Everything is available and everything in the apartment is described in a self-explanatory way. The guest house is very clean, the double bed is very good and everything is practical and beautifully furnished. The location is great and a free large parking lot is not far away. Nel is very courteous, quick to reach and also responds very quickly. Katwijk is also very beautiful, especially the beach with all the beach clubs. Check-in was very easy with a lockbox. Thank you for the great stay. Absolutely recommended.

Erna is truly an amazing Hostess and she is so generous with everything. I only chose to stay in Barneveld reading the reviews of Erna and her delicious breakfast since my husband and I wanted to be spoiled a bit. Barneveld is quiet but with a car you can drive. It exceeded expectations. She provides an amazing and clean accommodation. The bed is so comfortable and there are plenty of towels for guests to use. The little kitchenette was convenient and came with a toaster oven and a hot plate. There is no microwave but we managed fine since we stayed for two days. Erna also allowed us to use her washer and dryer. Helped us to order pizza. She welcomed us with a lovely bottle of wine and chilled beers and drinks. I loved the garden which is so cute and well planned. She has all the cutlery and assorted glasses you will need. I am back in Canada and still dreaming of Erna and her warm hospitality and delicious breakfast. Thank you for everything you did for my husband and me, Erna. Love

We were allowed to spend a week vacation with our 1 1/2 year old son at Leah and Tom's and would have preferred to stay there much longer. The two have a wonderful, cozy apartment and a fantastic garden that invites you to linger and was a great place for our son to romp and discover. Both the apartment and the garden, you immediately notice that a place to feel good was created here with a lot of love. Even plenty of toys for our son was there. :-) In addition, we want to say one more thing: We have already used AirBnB often, but we have never had such great, likeable and helpful landlords like Leah and Tom. They were always available for help and advice (especially when it came to tips for activities with our son) and it was always time for a private conversation. Incredibly dear people! We would have liked to have given more than 5 stars! :-)

Fred and Kelly’s place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed because the price was better and there was a little more room than many places directly in the city. Though we looked forward to it, we didn’t expect to fall in love with it…and we did! Staying outside of the city is pretty great. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the train station, and then an easy navigation to wherever you need to go. We didn’t mind the “commute” a bit, and it was nice to start off and wind down in a quieter setting. The place itself is well kept, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We enjoyed casting Netflix on the TV with the fireplace on in the evenings, and we spent a couple of mornings in the garden. We booked this spot our entire stay, but also spent one night in Amsterdam to experience “city life,” and also spent one night in Utrecht. These were perfect additions to our home base plan. I’d definitely stay here again!

Joke is such a cool host and it is clear that she goes out of her way to maximize your stay in Amsterdam. We got to meet her briefly and she is a very interesting, kind and thoughtful creative soul. Her apartment is well located and I think in one of the coolest neighborhoods in the city.

Really made up with this apartment. Brilliant communication. Very clean kitchen and bathroom. Very comfortable bed and having air conditioning was a bonus during this hot weather. Very impressed with the local area and how tranquil it is. 5 minute walk to the station and 20 minutes into Centraal.

Beautiful typical house, well located because it is close to the center of Laren. Very quiet place with a beautiful garden. Well-equipped rental. We had a great stay in this place.

The apartment is well suited for a long weekend in the province of Flevoland. It is very clean, quiet and you have everything you need. Henny and her husband are very friendly. Our children were allowed to go to the cows alone and had fun on the trampoline. Evi the dog is very sweet. Urk is a nice little place and the proximity to Amsterdam is great.
