This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

At the end of a dead end road at the bottom of the dyke overlooking the "Eilandspolder" nature reserve and a 5-minute walk from mill "de Havik" is hidden between the reed and right at the ring cruise holiday home "De Smid". 30 min drive from Amsterdam Noord. 30 min drive from the North Sea beach. Free 2 kanoes to sail. Free Towels/ tea towels/ linens/ pans/ cutlery/ pepper & salt . Double bed (extra 1-person fold-out bed for 3rd person/ child).

In the beautiful West Friesland in Oostwoud, we rent a 4-person vacation home called "Papenveer". This vacation home is located in a small vacation park. It is located on a continuous waterway with beautiful views and privacy. Papenveer is a cozy, spacious cottage with a modern kitchen and fully equipped bathroom and 2 bedrooms. Lovely private cottage with spectacular views very near Amsterdam and the famous historic Zaansche Schans. The cottage is situated in the typical historic village Jisp and overlooks a nature reserve. For nightlife, musea and city life the beautiful cities of Amsterdam, Alkmaar, Haarlem are close by. De beaches are about 30 min. drive

Holiday home Heidehof

Heidehof is a detached cottage for 6 persons located in one of the most beautiful areas of Texel. On the West side of the island near the woods and the beach with an free view over the meadows, the dunes and the church of Den Hoorn. Rabbits, buzzards, harriers and owls regularly visit Heidehof. In the evening you can enjoy the most beautiful starlit sky in the Netherlands, kept warm by the log fire in the fireplace.
