Country house - near Astrid Lindgrens Vimmerby

House in the country near Astrid Lindgren's World, Vimmerby . Single location in beautiful surroundings at the border between Småland and Ydre Östergötland. Wonderful nature, close to several swimming lakes and several tourist attractions such as the area around Sommen as well as Katthult, Filmbyn Småland, Mariannelunds Karamellkokeri and of course Astrid Lindgren's World. The accommodation is a typical older red cabin on two levels with a large garden. Grazing animals in the surrounding area and the forest to discover around the corner. Lovely idyll.

Cozy guest cottage in beautiful environment!

Newly-built cozy guest house of 26 sqm beautifully located that has Wifi and TV with chrome cast. On the loft there is a 140 cm resom mattress and in the living room a sofa bed of 140 cm. It is 900 meters to Torpöns Färjeläge where there is a restaurant/cafe and ice cream bar as well as activities such as high altitude track and canoe rental. Lake Sommen is about 200 meters from the cabin and is a nice lake to swim and fish in.Fishing licenses are available to buy in Färjelägret. Hiking trails are nearby just outside the cabin.

Lerstugan - a Swedish summer dream outside Vimmerby

A real paradise in the heart of nature! It has an idyllic and beautiful old soldier dwelling dating back to 1678. Astrid Lindgren's World is about 30 minutes away. Torpet is located 50 meters from Skirsjön. Swimming and boat spot is available in a few minutes walk. This is a true neighborhood dream. Here you live freely and undisturbed with an adorable view of the forest and lake. On the grounds there are two residential properties, partly the cottage but even the old barn, which was nicely converted into a large guest house.

Hi and welcome to Kummelbo. My retreat. Booking is closed and opens again on February 1, 2024. If you are interested and have questions, just email me :-) Rent out in parts of May and June and parts from 10/8 to 15/10. You can ask for dates even though they are blocked. Comfortable cottage for countryside recreation. Bath, excursions, fishing, canoe, walking trails, cows, cheeps and horses. Private in Torpa churchvillage. 200 m to neighbours and church. 70 m to Linna river, lake Sommen.

Charming cottage next to creek with nature close by

Welcome to Holken at Norrby Säteri. Holken was built in the 19th century and is situated right next to a stream. In this charming and newly renovated house without close neighbors and with its large garden, you can fully enjoy nature. Lying in the hammock on the house's terrace and listening to the stream's noise is a true relaxing one. A nice walk or bike ride on nice forest roads leads to a sandy beach in Stora Sundsjön where also rowing boats are at your disposal.

Lovely idyll near lake Tången with boat,canoe&bath

Country budget idyll on the countryside, perfect for the little family with small children. Lake Tången 900 meters, own rowing boat, canoe and shared bathing pier. Meadows, woods and walkingtrails. Here you´ll find silence and tranquility. VIMMERBY - PIPPI at 60 min drive. Store Coop Österbymo 7,5 km. Eksjö, Tranås on ca 35 km. High season only weekly rentals on Saturday as changeover day. Your host is speaking english as well.

Take a break and unwind in this peaceful oasis. You live in the middle of the Småland landscape with lovely nature and nice walking paths. It takes 15 minutes by car to Katthult and 10 minutes to Gnöstasjön. You can swim here. Fishing licenses are purchased in Mariannelund. There are more lakes.
