Holiday rentals with lake access in Ydre Municipality

We were going to a wedding in Vadstena over the weekend and this was a super cozy accommodation with cozy surroundings and fresh. Karin was very quick to respond and friendly in all communication. I can only recommend this accommodation and beautiful Hästholmen!😊

Cozy accommodation with art in a quiet area, perfect with children. Had everything we needed.

We had a lovely few days at Anneli's house. It is located in a quiet area overlooking a lake. The house was clean upon our arrival and the check-in was straightforward. Outside there are several seating options and a barbecue. Only the entrance area is modernly designed downstairs, the kitchen and living room are a little older but very cozy. We felt immediately comfortable and would be happy to come back.

If you are looking for the authentic 'Swedish idyll,' this is the place to be! The Torp is even more beautiful than the pictures and furnished with so much attention to detail. Tomaz and his family welcomed us warmly, provided us with plenty of information about the region and always had an open ear. We had a great week and felt very comfortable! A highlight was the joint BBQ by the campfire incl. baking bread and collecting wood with the kids. We recommend the place without reservation and will be happy to come back any time!

The apartment is very spacious and cozy and offers plenty of space, also as far as the outdoor area is concerned. Lake (Sommen) access is very close within walking distance. At the private dock you will find everything you need to relax and enjoy. Highly recommend.

Nice cottage to stay in, close to the beach and harbor in a lovely village. Stayed here in early June, so the summer heat was not quite there yet, but I can imagine that this is perfect to stay in July-August if you love to swim and get a summer feeling. No toilet/shower in the cottage but it worked very well to go to those that are just over 50-100 meters away, they were nice and well cleaned.

Had a super nice stay. There is a large BBQ available that worked really well and a jetty with boats. The owner has tips for fish. Especially pike is easy to catch! Ver stay is very spacious and the bed was very nice. Beautiful location, even more beautiful than in the photos!

Stayed about 4 weeks in that apartment and enjoyed it very much. Everything has worked well and Anders was very quick with the communication.

Super happy with our stay. The accommodation was child-friendly, well-planned and thoughtful. The hosts were helpful and nice. Walking distance to the playground and a maximum of 10 minutes' distance to Astrid Lindgren's World, which was our goal for the trip.

Nice apartment, spacious and clean and neat. Had all accessories. Can recommend for more. We stayed here family of five, while we were a couple of days in Astrid Lindgren's World.

We were super happy, perfect accommodation for us for our overnight stay. Easy and smooth, both to drive there and to check in and out. Nice little playground just behind so the kids could splash off after a long car ride before they went to sleep.

We had a great week walking with our kids in the footsteps of Astird Lindgreen. Bullerbü, Katthult, Vimmerby and Mariannelund were easily accessible. There is a nice swimming lake near the apartment. The food at Anki's cafe is highly recommended. We have experienced a lot and have recovered well at the same time thanks to the spacious apartment and the tranquility in Karlstorp. Thank you!

Fantastic view from Åke's beautiful apartment, which is only 35 minutes from Astrid Lindgren's World. Plenty of space and nice atmosphere. I will definitely stay with Åke again, the next time we are in the area.

Great secluded place to stay

The house is relatively isolated in the forest near a lake, very peaceful and quiet. It is possible to go boating on the lake, which is very nice. The sunset on the lake was also very pretty. everything was very quiet and calm, the starry sky with very little light pollution revealed a pretty Milky Way. The house itself had everything you needed, was spacious enough. The bed was large and comfortable, the living room had enough space to eat and rest. The pretty winter garden has a fireplace, which allows for comfortable evenings by the fire. The storage in the entrance was also appreciable. By car, you can reach Eksjö in about 20 minutes (go north for a less rocky road), you are well placed to visit the area. Our only regret was not spending more time in this beautiful place. Christoffer was also responsive if there were any questions, everything went very well.

I came back after visiting back in January. Was in the area for my birthday and kept comparing every airbnb to this place so decided to book it again. It didn’t disappoint during summer season as well. The Nature Reserve is absolutely stunning any time of the year. Love this location!

We had three beautiful days on the small island. Especially the kids enjoyed the stay very much. In the evening we could make fires and enjoy the tranquility. Unfortunately, there were also many mosquitoes, but we were prepared for that. The location is very nice and quiet. The accommodation itself is very simple, but with everything you need. Refrigerator, gas stove, etc. worked perfectly. The outdoor shower also serves its purpose. Communication with Peter was great and very fast. Definitely to be recommended.

Great host. Warm welcome and all the time available when anything was needed. The place was above expectations and perfect for those who want water and sauna tightly tied to the actual residence. A real pleasure and we would love to come back!

This place is a slice of paradise. We were immediately overwhelmed by the spirit of this place. Like in a picture book. A beautiful lake where you could swim and fish. The tranquility and the surroundings are simply fantastic. The house offers all you need for a comfortable stay. Pernilla was a super host who provided us with helpful tips and rounded off the stay at this wonderful place with a pleasant conversation at check-out. Thank you for this time. We will be back.

A cozy accommodation in a very nice place. Lovely pool and clean and fresh in the cottage with a lot of equipment, which makes it easier when you rent a house and do not need to pack everything with you. Pleasant and helpful hosts. We would be glad to come back! Best regards, Johanna with family

Beautiful house and location right by the lake. The house and especially the kitchen is very well equipped, perfect for us as a family. Hans and his wife were very welcoming and gave us some great tips for what to do in the area and even brought us some dessert. We had a lovely time, highly recommend.
