Farmstay holiday rentals in Western North Carolina

I took a group of teenagers to the treehouse for my son 16th birthday. It was perfect as I had my own bedroom and they got to stay together. There was lots for them to do but also a great time to unplug and just spend quality time together and not stay on their phones like they usually do.

I cannot recommend this place enough!! First off the privacy and the view was spectacular. We were greeted by the cutest dogs! We were able to rest and enjoy the fire pit while lying on the hammock. And the host took us around to see his goats, horses and dogs! It was so enjoyable! I will recommend it to anyone who needs to escape from the city life!

Arriving at this Janice and Tom’s cabin, our jaws were on the floor. The cabin itself is gorgeous, surrounded by nature and with a wrap around porch to enjoy the sounds of the river and watch fireflies light up at dusk. The pool and pool house are where we spent most of our time. With lounge chairs, a fridge for snacks and drinks and views of the pond and forest, it was a great place to spend our days and cool off. Janice and Tom were communicative, helpful and kind! We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend to those looking for a break from the hustle and bustle. It was an incredible place to reconnect with friends and with nature. Thank you so much Janice and Tom!!

The description and pictures paled in comparison to the cabin and atmosphere itself. They truly did a remarkable job with blending the rustic beauty of the cabin with modern conveniences. The farm is beautiful and was a pleasure to visit. The hosts were wonderful people who went out of their way with ways to make us feel at home. An added bonus was that our dog was not only permitted to join us on our trip but welcomed by them. I can't say enough about what a pleasant experience we had. We plan to return for another visit.

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. Location was great and the deck over the river's edge was wonderful. Only suggestion we would have is a vacuum for the cabin versus just a broom. Rate was great and we will be back.

Our stay at the Yeehaw Lodge for an extended weekend getaway was amazing and the view of Grandfather Mountain from the cabin was absolutely stunning! The cabin was exactly as described and very well stocked. Liz's instructions were clear which made check in and check out a straightforward process. We look forward to booking a stay at the Yeehaw Lodge in the future.

This property completely blew us away - beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and the animals were absolutely magical! The llamas were so friendly and fun, the miniature donkeys were adorable beyond words, and the chickens added such charm. It truly felt like our own private farm sanctuary! Our host was phenomenal - responsive, welcoming, and clearly passionate about providing an amazing experience. Every detail was perfect, and you can tell they truly care. We’ve stayed at countless Airbnbs, but this one stands head and shoulders above the rest. Already planning our return! If you want something truly special and unique, this is it. Can’t recommend enough - 5 stars isn’t enough!

This was SUCH a wonderful getaway for us! The cabin is beautiful, tons of outdoor activities close by, and the views on the property are incredible! Matt was an awesome host, extremely kind and helpful. We only wish we could have stayed longer :-) Thank you again for hosting, we will absolutely book this spot again!

We had the most amazing stay at Dawne’s Firefly Bungalow! From the moment we arrived, Dawne and her husband were so kind and welcoming—it truly felt like visiting family. The property is absolutely beautiful, with stunning landscaping that made for such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. One of the highlights for us was all the sweet animals on the property—friendly, adorable, and a big hit with our daughter! She especially loved the slide and spent hours playing and enjoying the outdoors. It was such a joy to watch her have so much fun. The location is perfect—just a short drive to all the attractions in Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg is nearby as well. Despite being so close to everything, the bungalow is tucked away in a quiet, serene setting that gave us the best of both worlds. Highly recommend staying here!

Courtney and Jeremy are excellent hosts. Very responsive and made us feel very comfortable. Jeremy set up the wood burning hot tub for us to get started and went over the amenities, along with helpful tips. The area is very serene and secluded. Cozy sleep space. Being able to feed the farm animals was a cherry on top. 10/10 would recommend.

Super clean, great location, very peaceful! Such a beautiful place to stay if you are looking to get away from. Situated great for hiking and exploring local towns. Lance was very friendly, tagged along everywhere with us and was very interested in the dogs!

Really beautiful stay, the farm surrounding the tiny was beautiful! The tiny itself was so cozy and nice, we enjoyed our nights thoroughly! It was our honeymoon, and it was spent very happily in this tiny!

Loved the quick getaway to the caverns and casino! The farm animals was such a sweet way to have our coffee. Their pig Charlotte and pup Bonnie got all the love from us. I would recommend the property for the views and convenience to the area of Bristol.

We absolutely loved this adorable house! The porch was lovely, nice features included an outside fan which made it super comfortable. We loved the griddle for breakfast. The bed was comfy, couch comfy and the decor was beautiful. I loved being our visits from John (the dog) he was amazing. The new baby pigs was a pleasant surprise. We felt super safe. This tiny house is behind a large shed and some equipment so we were hidden from the road and the view off the porch was so serene! Thanks for a great place to stay!

The cabin was lovely and we had a great time there . Communication with owners was easy and prompt. The cabin is hidden in the mountains , but easy to find and with good access . We felt safe . The cabin is 100 years old but beautifully renewed , without taking the feeling that you are in a traditional mountain cabin . We also enjoyed the nearby community and the kind people living in the area . We loved the stay and we plan to return .

This was a favorite Airbnb. When you think of everything you can imagine provided. It was!!!! So beautifully decorated. Everything cozy to make you feel right at home. Clear instructions on how to use everything was so helpful. A beautiful new deck that overlooked the mountains with incredible views. A goody basket was provided...so thoughtful. Everything was absolutely perfect. Oh...comfortable beds, great linens, soft towels etc. Definitely hope to visit again soon.

My wife and I stayed on a weekend getaway and it was a prefect place to stay. Having been to numerous other Airbnb’s, this is our favorite yet!

We had a wonderful time looking out over the rolling hills, feeding the horses carrots. Enjoyed the pool the whole trip was a win would go back and stay with Suzanne again , very nice person and a lovely home

This place was the perfect getaway for my mom’s bday’s girl trip! There were a total of 7 people (4 adults, 1 teen, 1 toddler, 1 infant) and it was very comfortable and roomy. We enjoyed being outside! It was so peaceful, private and the views are amazing- from the sunrise, the sunset and the moonlit night sky. The place was clean and we all slept spread out and comfortably! We really enjoyed the wrap around porch. We used it for play, for meals, and for relaxation. We also had the convenience of the grocery store, gas station and a few restaurants about 5 minutes away; it was literally a straight shot. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a private getaway.

Chimene’s place was one of my favorite Airbnb stays. It was peaceful, private, and surrounded by fresh air and sweet animals. The setting felt like a true escape, and the home itself was clean, cozy, and even more welcoming than the photos show. My dad had a mishap and Chimene handled it so well with grace and understanding. Will always value that. Her kindness and the overall atmosphere made this a memorable and refreshing experience. I’d gladly stay here again.

The home was amazingly clean and organized with switches and spaces labeled. The kitchen was well equipped with tools and appliances including a crockpot and muffin pan. We loved the extra ice maker. The downstairs bedroom is small but adequate. The living room/kitchen/dining area is very comfy and spacious with a lot of nice touches. We ate breakfast and watched many rain showers from the covered porch area. The lightning bugs, deer, and family of 10+ turkeys were a joy to watch up close to the cabin. The covered porch was by far our favorite place to be at any time of the day. We grilled out, enjoyed an evening fire, and even did laundry. We went to the cabin to check out supplies before shopping. We bought charcoal, matches, wood, and groceries from the local Ingles store. The cabin is very private. There is a lot of road traffic but it wasn’t overwhelming. The landscaping is well designed and the cabin is on a hill so people couldn’t see us. We had an amazing time.
