Dayna has decorated her place with many interesting antiques and eclectic objects. There's always something new to discover and good books to leaf through. It's a pretty and cozy place with a spacious bath and well-appointed kitchen, and a living room that easily seats four. Parking is an easy pull-in next to the apartment, off the street. There are renters upstairs who are quiet. The only somewhat negative is the road noise, though this isn't bad at night and we slept well. Dayna was responsive and helpful with questions we had about the area.

We’re new to Virginia and we did not know what to expect from our Northern Neck road trip — we’d heard the Rappahannock was beautiful but we had no idea just how special it is until we saw it with our own eyes. Mark and Rosanne’s home is a perfect way to experience all the beauty and culture of river life. Close to nature, friendly neighbors, charming accommodations that feel like home. This AirBnB feels incredibly personal, like you’re stepping into a family cottage full of wonderful memories. It feels “lived in” in the best way possible — warm and familiar, as if you too grew up spending summers there. Waking up to the sound of ospreys was good for the spirit. And the view from the back deck was breathtaking. I’ll never forget the bike rides down nearby country roads and the gorgeous drives around the peninsula. This place is truly special.

Loved staying at this quiet retreat! Mornings listening to birds, afternoons in the sunny backyard, stars and stars! Really loved this place and will be back again.
