Amazing, breathtaking view. Best place for me and bridesmaids before went to my wedding at Don Rowland. The only downfall is that the dam was closed at the time, it would have been a 5 minute drive but had to go right around via motorway (20 min) but the house itself was well worth it! Had everything we needed and more!!! I would consider going again just for a normal weekend. The hosts were accommodating in every way, we had access to kayaks, best coffee machine, comfy couches and beds, clean showers, a nice bbq, beautiful flowers, awesome neighbours, parking for about 3 cars and extra blankets and towels. 10/10 from us!

Second stay here, heater was on when i arrived so house was beautifully warm. Lovely and peaceful and well set up so homely and comfortable.

beautiful house with lots of space. The views out to the lake are gorgeous, made better by by the big open windows along one side of the house. it was really cold when we first arrived but the heating had been turned on ready for our arrival which I loved. There was also heaps of firewood available so the place felt super cosy. the place is outside of the centre of Rotorua making it so peaceful and private. But close enough to to drive to all of the attractions in the area. Couldn't recommend this place enough! thank you for a wonderful stay

This space is everything presented and more. Karin & Ollie provide a wonderful abode tucked away, with plenty of clear concise instructions. The cottage is cozy, charming and so peaceful. We were so satisfied with the space we were sad to leave! Highly highly recommend!!

We had a great stay at Alyssa's. The place was comfortable and we had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and the house was nice and warm. It was also great to be able to have our fur baby with us.

Great property, great host, and wonderful stay! The property is spacious, well appointed, very clean and fresh, and a retreat away from home! We really enjoyed our stay with 3 adults and 6 kids at the property. We had plenty of space, enjoyed the fireplace with the wood provided, and even the chickens. As we have chickens at home that just added to the appeal. This location worked really well for hitting the glowworms and Hobbiton!

What a beautiful home for a family getaway! It surpassed our expectations, and they were high. Sarah and Darren have thought of absolutely everything and it is all top quality and so comfortable. One of my aunties marvelled that her bed was so good, she woke up without the usual aches and pains. Located just up the road from the redwood forest and tree walk, and only a few minutes from town, yet private and quiet, it was a perfect escape. Now we want to stay again during summer to make the absolute most of the fabulous pool and outdoor areas. Highly recommend!

Quirky fun layout. Very practical & roomy enough for 9 guests. The kids loved that the pool was available even though it was Easter weekend. Roszarri was very helpful and welcoming.

My partner and I had a wonderful weekend stay. The place was incredibly quiet and private, perfect for a relaxing getaway. We really appreciated the lovely personal touches that made our holiday feel extra special. Everything was clearly prepared with care. Check-in and check-out were seamless, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We’d absolutely stay here again.

Atiamurphy is one of the best AirBNB places we have stayed at. Service provided, Host Communication and the Location, is perfect, for me at least. kids will have a blast, parents will get their peace, and travellers will scratch that itch whilst here! Rachael was an exceptional host. We were in town for a family bereavement which Rachael picked up on and had flowers waiting for us upon arrival with a touching note. The home was just fabulous to come back to and relax. I made an error in booking, getting the dates wrong. Rachael was so understanding and went the extra mile to refund a nights accommodation and followed up to make sure we found a place for the second night. The kind gestures from Rachael were so appreciated by our family.

Catherine's place exceeded all expectations. The space itself was incredibly roomy, making it perfect for relaxing, spending time with others, or just enjoying some quiet downtime. There were plenty of things to do, which kept everyone entertained throughout the stay—whether it was exploring the surroundings or enjoying the pool, reading books and playing the piano. What really stood out, though, was Catherine's hospitality. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, leaving a handwritten note and some thoughtful snacks for us to enjoy upon arrival. It's those personal touches that really make a difference and show how much she cares about her guests’ experience. Everything about the stay was smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable. I honestly can’t think of a single downside. I’d wholeheartedly recommend Catherine’s place to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-hosted getaway.

I came to waihi for work and needed a place to stay for a couple of days. Jonathan is very friendly and understanding about our needs and just able to communicate well with us. Internet connection is very fast because the Airbnb is using starlink. Small comfy place to stay at. Great to just unwind and relax. Thanks for allowing us to stay at the Airbnb Jonathan!

The hobbit hole was magic! Exactly what I needed. The more time you spent there the more you realised how much time and thought had been poured into it. Sheryn was so warm and friendly, going out of her way to pick me some fresh fruit! Would love to return at some point! Would highly recommend to anyone who needs some time out.

Caron’s Airbnb in Matamata was absolutely adorable — cozy, beautifully styled, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need. It truly felt like a home away from home. The location was great too — nice and quiet, yet just a quick 3-minute drive to everything in town. Caron is such a joy — warm, welcoming, and clearly puts so much care into making sure her guests feel comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend!

We had such a wonderful stay at Nina’s beautiful farmstay this weekend! The property was peaceful, well-equipped, and perfect for a relaxing escape. One of the highlights was getting to feed the friendly farm animals—such a special experience that we absolutely loved! Nina was a fantastic host: warm, welcoming, and quick to respond. Highly recommend this spot to anyone wanting a cozy country getaway. We’d love to come back again!

We had such a great time at this beautiful home in Bowentown! The house had everything we needed, and was super close to the beach. Would most definitely recommend staying here!
