House holiday rentals in Waikato River

I would like to say that Rose & Wal were very welcoming, especially after a very long drive from Taranaki to Tauranga due to an unfortunate crash on the Awakino gorge. Everything was really cleaned and fresh. Next time i would like to bring my family and spend a good couple of days to enjoy the beautiful city more. Thanks again Rose and Wal.

Mark’s AirBnB is an experience rather than a stay. Is a combination of coastal rural Nz right on the doorstep (short boat ride away) from a bustling town Raglan where there are 5 star restaurants, super markets and everything you would need or expect. And the accomodation itself is nestled on a cliff top with 180 views of the harbour and if Raglan. Private, the feeling of seclusion and neighbour free - the best of both worlds made better by a host that balances your needs with respectful distance. Make a pizza in the wood fired oven and then warm your bones in the spa boat and arching the harbour u til the sun melts away listening to birds evening song. We can’t wait to head back and hopefully catch the big uncle of the 12 lb snapper we caught in the raglan harbour!!! Outstanding place.

Atiamurphy is one of the best AirBNB places we have stayed at. Service provided, Host Communication and the Location, is perfect, for me at least. kids will have a blast, parents will get their peace, and travellers will scratch that itch whilst here! We’ve found Bayley’s house a great place to stay for family. The plunge pool is so big and we enjoyed it very much. Everything is same as described and Bayley’s instruction is clear. So everything went smoothly, we recommend this place!

A great house close to the city and all amenities.  Serein was very helpful, especially when we left a watch behind and had to organise a pick up tiej for it.   Would recommend it to all.

I’m not quite sure where to start, as there were so many great things about this holiday home. Firstly, thanks to our host for providing such a wonderful space for my family to stay and create happy memories together. We absolutely loved our time here! The property is very well maintained, both inside and out. (I think it’s even better than in the photos). It’s spacious yet cosy, with plenty of room to spread out, as well as great areas to hang out as a family. The kitchen is an excellent size and very well equipped. Of course the plunge pool is an added bonus that we really enjoyed, especially after a busy day of activities around Taupo. We appreciated the location as it’s away from the business of central town but close enough to easily get there in a couple of minutes by car. The neighbourhood is lovely and we really enjoyed walking around it and down to the lakeside. We would definitely highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Taupo.

Danny's place is extremely high quality. It was warm and cozy and the bed was very comfortable. The views are beautiful. Highly recommended.

This house was exactly what we were looking for as a family of 5. The home was clean when we arrived and stocked with everything we needed. The provided sports equipment and access to the school court and field was a bonus! My children loved playing tennis & running around in the open field. The spa was well kept with clear instructions & our host was very easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend this home & will glady stay here again. This was our favorite place we stayed at in NZ. Kerry and David’s place is in a great location albeit off a busy street. The beds were very confortable and the kitchen was well stocked. All the extra touches made us feel welcome as soon as we stepped in theough the door. We had an issue with the keys and they came right away to help resolve it in person. Super nice and responsive hosts. Highly recommend!

Facility is very clean and new. Very comfortable to stay. Beautiful view outside the balcony. Environment is very serene and refreshing. It is a great place to spend some quality time there :D

Irenes home was a god sent for us. Located on a hill top l facing the beautiful Taupu Lake one could not have asked for a better location to unwind and recouperate. It was majical. The home itself was well equiped comfortable and clean. we could not have asked for better. Loved our stay and will certainly be back.

What a stunning Airbnb! We could have sat on the sofa and stared out of the huge floor to ceiling windows overlooking Lake Taupō all day, and the real open log fire (very generously loads of firewood provided) made evenings extra cosy. It was super clean and tidy, has all the amenities you’d need, and was walkable to a few nice cafés/restaurants and less than a 10 min drive into Taupō itself which is a fantastic town. The outdoor bath is such an incredible treat! The night skies you get are absolutely beautiful, like nothing we’ve ever seen, and sitting in the outdoor tub stargazing was a highlight. Heads up - both beds (we tried both after not being super comfy the first night) are extremely firm which was the only slight down side to our stay but that’s very much preference and many may prefer that.

Amy’s place was absolutely amazing! My twi friends and I stayed for a long weekend as we were competing in a crossfit competition ober Matariki weekend in the Mount. Amy’s place was everything we expected and more! It was in a nice quiet neighbourhood with an awesome restaurant just down the road. Being winter time it was super warm and cozy. Every bedroom had it’s own heatpump. We also found some foldout beach chairs and a picnic rug which we used to take to our competition to relax on in between our events. The kitchen was well equipped with all the things including a cute little snack jar. The place was so clean and tidy and we loved all the decor and details it made us feel really at home and was a great place to relax. We would recommend Amy’s place to anyone travelling to Papamoa, Tauranga or the Mount. We would love to stay again in the summer time and go to the beach so I will have to bring my whānau one day. Thanks Amy, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Graeme’s place was perfect! Easy to find and to check in. Very private and peaceful, really loved the location. Felt warm and comfortable once we entered the place. No flaws at all! Really enjoyed our stay!

Very spacious home with amenities. Close to the motorway. The house has a spa pool and very large living areas It was good value for money. The upstairs toilet seat for some reason is all singed and looks like it had been set on fire before? I would suggest replacing this. But overall a great home and value for money.

The Range View Cottage was a perfect tranquil retreat. The view from the outdoor seating area, and large windows from inside, was so green and beautiful. It was lovely to arrive to a spotless yet comfortable cottage, and the welcome loaf of bread and bottle of wine was an added bonus. Everything you could need is provided. Personally, it was nice to be a little away from the surf and tourist vibes of Raglan (one does need a car though if they plan to get into Raglan or to hit the beach and surf). Overall I would recommend the Range View Cottage to anyone!

We booked this house for our guests at our wedding. The house was so great and well worth the money. It was very big and easy to find plenty of parking and we will definitely recommend to anyone in the area

Josie and Rob's place was beyond perfect for a Birthday weekend getaway of 6 adults. Every amenity you could think of, they had; the house was so comfortable in so many aspects. Not to mention the location, which was close enough to town and walkable to St Kilda cafes, but still in the peaceful countryside of Cambridge. Couldn't fault Josie and Rob too, their communication and helpfulness were unmatched. We are already dreaming of coming back.

Awesome place - cosy, comfortable, not far from town, nice quiet area - would stay again and recommend to others. Host was amazing!
