Monthly Rentals in Valdichiesa

Valdichiesa is a quiet and cool location. The house is essential, well furnished with everything you need. Piera is a very responsive host, she resolved small issues in a short time. I recommend better isolating the apartment from the adjacent one, the door makes every noise pass through. We thank our neighbor who was a very quiet and respectful person; I can't say the same about the people before him, fortunately only stayed one night.

Donatellas place was lovely and big with stunning views out to the port and ocean from the multiple terraces. It was truly amazing. My mother in law (who was travelling with us) was born in nearby Valchiesa and we were back to visit relations. We visited the house where she was born and lots of relations who fed us very well. Some of us hiked to the top of nearby Monte del Fossa Felci which is the higher of the two volcanic peaks on Salina. An elevation of 960 metres above sea level from where the views were gobsmacking. The house was great and well featured and fitted the 6 of us very nicely. Unfortunately we had to leave two days early due to a storm and bad weather coming in which meant that the ferries to and from the islands would not be running for about 5 days. We would love to return again in summertime. We would highly recommend this property and hosts. :-) Chris, Karen and family

Very cozy house at valdichiesa. all villages are basically 5-10 minutes by car/scooter as the house is located in the middle of the island. the hikes to both vulcanos start directly at the house. very friendly host. the house has everything you need with a very nice terrace with beautiful views. the host is very nice and friendly. 10/10, sure recommendation.
