Monthly Rentals in Tyler Mountain

My husband and I stayed here while in town for a family event. We could not have been more pleased with the house. It is in a quiet area, looked even nicer in person than in the photos, and Betsy provides so many thoughtful touches with many snacks and drinks in the kitchen and toiletries in the bathroom - which I needed after I accidentally left mine at home! I have stayed in many vacation rentals and none of them have had this level of thoughtful amenities. I felt comfortable and cared for as a guest in this home. I will definitely stay here again when I’m in town and will recommend it to anyone else I know who is visiting Charleston. It is a great place!

Brandon provides an excellent place to stay in the Charleston area. The apartment is very charming with original hardwood floors (I think) in great shape. The bed is quite comfortable and the couch ain’t too bad to sleep on either. One thing we really loved about this place is it seems to be in a historical upcoming neighborhood. Nestled right on the Kanawha river. You can watch large barges carrying coal. To me this is right up my alley cause I’m extremely interested in the history of West Virginia as it has a huge influence on the foundation of this country. The air conditioning works wonderful as well. Definitely would recommend this place for people looking to not spend an arm and a leg for a nice, comfortable spot to stay in this area and hope to stay there again in the future.

What a great place! Clean, comfortable, just what you need for a one-night (or more) stay. The neighborhood was extremely quiet and the house's proximity to I-64 makes it an even better place to stay. I've stayed in many Airbnb places, and this was one of my favorites. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again the next time I travel through the Charleston area. Just a brief comment that if you are a large person, the bathroom is pretty small, and there is only a few inches of space between the toilet and the bathtub (you face the bathtub as you sit on the toilet). This didn't affect me but could affect someone who is tall and/or large.

This was such a convenient stay for me. I needed to be at the cultural center the next morning and it was less than 4 miles away. It’s also very close to the civic center. The place was very clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable too. Dennis was very friendly and made me feel safe at comfortable. Great coffee selection.
