“Shirley and Ron’s AirBnB is one of the best weekend getaways I’ve had in a long time. I brought my little pup out to escape the city for the weekend. We both enjoyed ourselves so much it was hard to leave. When I arrived, a nice little snowstorm blew through and everything was covered in snow. It made their already beautiful property that much more wonderful. They truly have thought of everything you would need and more. One of the fondest memories of the weekend was sharing a cup of coffee in their home before leaving (I didn’t want to leave!). I’m looking forward to bringing my wife back out in the summer. Also, make sure to take the time to hike the property. There’s an abundance of wildlife, creeks, caves, and a couple small waterfalls. Truly beautiful. Thank you, Ron and Shirley!”

“We decided to plan a weekend away on Tuesday of last week for the approaching weekend. I found the Laurel Oak cabin on Airbnb and decided to go for it. Immediately I was greeted by management with our itinerary and plans for our stay with our animals. The pet fees were discussed and the whole process was painless unlike other places we have stayed with our two dogs. We had to postpone leaving for our trip til later in the evening on Friday, leaving us traveling at night to reach the resort in a heavy snow flurry storm. The directions and drive to the resort were flawless, and when we arrived our stay plans and room keys were highly visible and easy to find. We ventured to our cabin which was in a secluded area of the resort, all the way at the end! AMAZING! The cabin was clean and impressive for being one of the few DOG friendly cabins there. We quickly made ourselves at home! The next day we ventured to the Long Point Trail that was advertised in the destination book left at the cabin. Stunning! The location of this cabin and the cleanliness and readiness of staff for all of our needs were amazing. I would highly recommend this cabin, the view, the staff, the amenities and everything else that you would expect to experience on a stay to anyone! Great location, great summertime offers but most importantly a great place to stay if you decide in the late winter early spring to venture and explore! We will definitely be visiting again!”

“This is definitely an experience not your typical airbnb stay, moreso a step up from camping as this is inside a barn. Angela's family takes good care of it and you will find a host of ducks, chicken and one random turkey in your surroundings. I totally recommend Angela's homemade breakfast like everyone said and definitely explore the downtown you'll feel like you were brought back in time.”
