first I love his neighbors who checked us in. Cinzia was amazing. She not only showed us our place but took our kids to show us her farm. she also makes her own olive oil and gifted us with some! Wonderful Italian neighbors!! I contacted Rocky in advance and he provided me with specific recommendations for where we should go during a long drive we took. we went where he suggested and was not disappointed! Amazing quiet location with great near by wineries. would 100% recommend to everyone!

Do not hesitate to book this home. The house itself is A+, with all of the comforts of home, including a well-stocked kitchen, two indoor dining areas, three large living areas, beautiful books and fresh floral arrangements everywhere, and lovely bedrooms. The gardens are A+++. We stayed in late April with blooming wisteria, irises, and roses, in addition to orange, lemon, olive, and fig trees.There are three outdoor dining areas, plus seating around the barbeque and pool. The views go forever and the sunsets are breathtaking. Clearly this is a home that has been lovingly restored and taken care of, not a quick-turn investment rental. Montisi is perfectly situated to visit all of Val d'Orcia, with Chianti and Florence less than 2 hours away. But you might not want to leave the house.

A perfect place, a perfect holiday. This is our second time and we will certainly come again. It’s even more beautiful than the photos (the villa and the surrounding area). The villa is amazing and it’s so peaceful. Elena kindly filled the pool for us, even though it was a little early in the season. The village is a pleasant 15 minute stroll and has everything you need (a small shop, pharmacy, couple of bars and restaurants, bakery). We absolutely loved it.
