Really nice and quiet area, with a few metro stations close by to quickly get to the main attractions. The apartment was super clean with all the amenities. They offer cleaning once a week free of charge if you stay longer than a week. The apartment was spacious comparing to other options in Tokyo, also it was recently renovated. Nice view on the Skytree. Next time we are definitely staying here again.

Sumida City is a great neighbourhood, very quiet, away from the busyness of the city but still a close metro ride to anywhere you’d want to be in downtown Tokyo. Easy walking distance to the Senso-ji Temple, and some great little local restaurants. Sachiko was a very great host, left us some very clear and easy instructions for checking in and finding the apartment. The only thing to be mindful of is the distance to the metro is a bit of a walk with some heavy suitcases at around 15min, but I wouldn’t let that scare you away from it. Close by 7-eleven for some late night snacks!
