A great house, with a garden and porch with incredible views of the island of Tavolara. Roberto and Luciano were very kind to us, and always available for anything. The area is very quiet and peaceful, ideal for a few days of rest. A 2-minute drive away, you can hire excursions to the island of Tavolara and its surroundings, with turquoise waters and spectacular seabeds. A great accommodation find. We booked this stay for 3 nights. On arrival our host greeted us and provided a thorough tour/induction. Very friendly and couldn’t fault. Before arriving they provided clear instructions on how to arrive at the destination and provided excellent communication throughout. The home was spotless and they provided plenty of amenities and nice touches to make our stay enjoyable. The detail and care they provided was 10/10. If we had any questions we would hear back from them asap. The views outside were unreal. I would recommend you have a car to access this Airbnb as it’s high up and to travel the island its easier to drive which luckily we did otherwise taxi’s would be very expensive. The home is situated down some steps and is the bottom half of there home which is completely separated and the hosts live above in the main home but it doesn’t feel like you are disturbed or anything at all. They have local shops and great restaurants 5 mins away. Thank you for everything. 10/10.

Sabrina was really welcoming. The place was quiet, clean and bright. There is a swimming pool. There are few restaurants close to the house. Lovely beach with Cristal-clear water about 3 kilometers.

We (family of 4 with two girls aged nine and four) had a wonderful week in the middle of August at Casa Funtana. Pictures hardly do the house justice, it was clearly designed with love and attention to detail, feels very private, and sits within the most serene location surrounded by mountains, the characteristic Sardinian stone and aromatic shrubbery - with a view of the sea and isola tavolara in the distance. The house is fully equipped with everything one could need, and the little towns of Porto San Paolo and Murat Maria with its supermarkets, restaurants and gelaterias (try Costa Turchese in Murta Maria!) are less than a 10min drive away. Stunning beaches aplenty also within 10-15mins drive. A special mention for Raffaela, who received us with a smile when we arrived late at night and tended to our every need, you made sure our holiday got off to a perfect start! 🙂 Wholeheartedly recommended.
