Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Sylvan Beach

I can't say enough great things about our stay! The hosts were awesome to deal with...always accommodating and available, the location was perfect...right on the water/ice, the residence exceeded our expectations and had everything we needed. The location is perfect with a short walk to exceptional fishing. No need to scramble trying to find parking...its all right there for you. We enjoyed a weekend of ice fishing with family and friends and definitely plan on coming back this year. On a scale of 1 to 10...this is an 11! Highly recommend!

Very cozy and peaceful place by the lake. It was nice to have an enjoyable bar/restaurant nearby as well.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at Dylan’s with 3 others for 3 days and it was a beautiful, clean home. We had no issues with anything . Dylan responded to us no problem, the house looked even more beautiful than the pictures, the pool was a good temperature, the hot tub was our favorite thing in the backyard. We used the fireplace and it was really nice as well as the grill, we loved making food on there too. Overall it was an amazing experience Dylan was great with communication and hospitality. I would definitely book with him again.

A comfortable and accommodating space with beautiful views of the lakes. The hosts were helpful and communicative. We knew exactly what was expected of us. Our favorite parts were: space for all staying with us, the very comfortable mattresses and the access to beautiful views greeting us morning and evening and in between. We enjoyed watching the resident ducks, geese, osprey, eagles, house sparrows while being serenaded by a song sparrow each morning. Kitchen appliances were modern and high quality. Bathrooms had attractive updated fixtures. As is not uncommon in CNY, the basement bedrooms felt a bit damp, which was helped by running the basement bathroom fan and AC fan while we were there. (The host has a dehumidifier that looks like it is probably run when guests are not using the space). The cleaning crew missed a few details before our arrival, but overall the space was acceptable and the host daily initiated reaching out to see if there was anything that needed addressed.

The house was comfortable and the water views were peaceful.

Loved the remote feel of the locale, yet we were within a short driving distance to towns and stores. Beautiful mountainous views from our windows. Park and waterfall just down the road. The place was super quaint, clean, well-organized and equipped with all essential items + a basket of bathroom goodies in case we forgot to pack a toiletry item. Nice big bathroom and a washer/dryer. After a long trip, a good night’s sleep is key… The king bed was comfy, but the queen bed and the beds in the twin/trundle room were not! Those mattresses definitely could use an upgrade.

Had a wonderful stay here with my husband and two kids (6 and 4). Check in was easy, place was clean and as described, and location was perfect. Appreciated having the secluded outdoor space as well. Would stay again!

We had a really comfortable stay at Eileen and Randy’s place. It was accurately described and immaculately clean. Eileen was very reachable and responsive and it was lovely to meet her and put a face to the name. We were visiting family in the area all the way from Sydney Australia. Eileen and Randy’s really was our home away from home!

This place was absolutely perfect for what we needed. Spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was also a large parking space that was perfect for the cargo van we were traveling in. Juan was very polite, friendly and responded to everything quickly. I would highly recommend this place if you need something in the area.

Highly recommended. Even nicer than the photos. Very comfortable and spacious apartment—with lots of nice personal touches, including linen bedding, bath robes, numerous books and candles. Loved the short walk to the Clinton Village. I will really miss Utica coffee:). We were in town to attend our son’s graduation from Colgate University and the drive to/from was easy. Although close to Utica, the town and apartment has a very nice rural vibe. Our hosts were proactive and responsive! Thanks so much for giving us the icing on the cake to the adventure.

Full of natural light. Peaceful & private outdoor area with fire pit & hot tub. Beautiful bedroom with luxurious bedding, slippers, bath robes, lighted make up mirror, a perfume collection for guests to use if they wish and more! We cannot say enough good things! Thank you 🩷

This cabin was like a dream. It was perfectly ready upon our arrival. It was secluded, peaceful, and the most relaxing stay you could possibly ask for. The big window by the bed was magical. All you could see was the beautiful greenery surrounding the cabin. You feel like you are the only people in the world. I can’t wait to continue to go back there. ❤️

What a fantastic place, we made some really fun memories with our young family here and would love to come back and make more. The space was clean and highly useable, has a fantastic fire pit overlooking the water, a dock at the cabin and a beach right next door. Wish we had stayed longer so we could have done more exploring all the amenities, but it was a very restful weekend and we cannot wait to return to this magical camp you have created!!

My husband and I decided last minute to get away for a couple of days to celebrate our coming 10th wedding anniversary. Karen’s place was the perfect place for this. Her place is clean, cozy, beautiful and she made sure we had everything we could need even an IPhone charger lol. The property is well maintained and absolutely gorgeous. We recommend the Lakeside restaurant and the local flee markets. Thank you and we definitely plan to come again.

Great little cabin on the lake! It was just what we were looking for. Quiet and peaceful! Instant relaxation. Super comfy bed, gorgeous views. Amazing fire pit at the waters edge. The host gave excellent restaurant suggestions and we took his suggestion to go Green Lakes State Park! So glad we did!!! Definitely would recommend this place!
