Cabin holiday rentals in Sullivan County

We were two families from NYC that spend three nights at this place. The house was more than spacious for the 8 of us and we thoroughly enjoyed the four person hot tub, the firepit and badminton set. The kitchen was really well equipped for cooking and the beds were super comfortable. John was just a text away for any questions.

Excellent getaway in the woods for family, friends and dog-friendly! Checking-in and getting settled was a breeze! After touring the inside and outside of the property, I knew I’d have no shortage of activities and amenities provided by the host, as advertised. I spent half the week free and the other half working from the cabin. No inconvenience whatsoever for me or my dog and guest. We made the most of the movie and game room, listened to vintage records, got a great workout in on some downtime, and relaxed in the evening with great star viewing. Minutes away from great hiking at Minnewaska State Park where you can easily access Lake Awosting and waterfall, Napanoch point lookout, the Shawangunk Mountain trails and more. Good local eating at spots like Main and Mill, a dog-friendly restaurant/cafe. Can’t recommend this location enough and Stacy was gracious and responsive in communication throughout.

This place is amazingggg. Such a perfect experience. I’m so glad I came here. I love it so much I ended up saying two extra days. I wanna keep it all to myself. I don’t even wanna tell you guys about it. 😂 this place really is as perfect as it looks. The beds are so comfortable, the view is amazing. The sounds are amazing. Everything is high quality. Heated floor and seat in bathroom. It’s so peaceful and private. There’s a Japanese style hot tub in the backyard that overlooks the river. And string lights thru the back yard. I love it SO much. Everything here is so intentional. Jenny did an amazing job with this place. And Jenny is so chill and fun. I don’t wanna Airbnb anywhere else - this place has ruined it for all other places 😂

My family and I came up from Friday to Tuesday for my birthday. It was the perfect getaway. We took advantage of all the wonderful recommendations that Meng and Andrew gave us. All of the restaurants and shops were fantastic. The home is set in front a beautiful peaceful creek, we had the windows open and enjoyed the beautiful sounds of nature and the fresh air. My dog loved running around the property and drinking from the stream. The sauna and the hot tub where the perfect treat after our adventurous days. I could not have asked for a better getaway. The home is thoughtfully decorated and had everything we needed to feel right at home. Thank you!

House sits right on the lake, beautiful property very private but close to town. The open floor plan is so comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need. The house was well organized and very clean. Communication with Anna was easy and very responsive. The hot tub was such a nice treat at the end of the day. Would highly recommend this home.

Amazing stay with incredible amenities! The house was super clean and spotless upon arrival. Beautiful property - you won’t want to leave! The host is super accommodating and provides thorough instructions for the amenities. Wonder is a thoughtful host and prepares you with all the tools/info you need to make your stay perfect. We used all three of the hot tub, cold plunge and sauna - it’s an immaculate setup. It rained most of our stay and the amenities kept us happily preoccupied all weekend.

Was exactly the weekend getaway we needed. The tub was perfect for the cold nights, and we were just close enough to do a few hikes. The cabin was exceptionally clean and James was very attentive to anything that we needed. It is definitely in a neighborhood, and there are many families that live by but because of the greenery and the way that the house is laid out it feels very private. We would recommend this to friends and family! Thank you, James!

What a hidden gem. Cozy, clean cabin feel with enough privacy from other houses. Great amenities like a hot tub, fireplace, walkable backyard, comfy outdoor seating, nice mountain views, ample toiletries, and 2.5 convenient bathrooms. The hosts laid out everything we needed to know clearly and it was such an enjoyable, stress free vacation. We also enjoyed Roscoe's diner and the convenient Tesla charger. Overall an excellent house to stay in with everything you would need. The cats enjoyed their stay as well. 😺

Had the best time at the little red cabin! Very peaceful and relaxing area. My dog had the best time too! Great fenced in yard, great porch with grill, beautiful scenic lake to walk around. We will definitely be going back!

I cannot say enough good things about our stay at this cabin! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The cabin was clean, and perfectly cozy. The location was peaceful and private, surrounded by nature with stunning views. We enjoyed morning coffee on the porch, evening fires under the stars, and everything in between. The amenities were thoughtful and well-stocked, from kitchen essentials to extra blankets and board games. It’s clear the hosts put a lot of care into making the space welcoming. This stay was the perfect mix of comfort, charm, and relaxation. Whether you’re looking for a quiet retreat or an adventure-filled escape, this cabin is a gem. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

The cabin was very cozy and peaceful. I would recommend enough bug spray for your stay, there are a lot ! Other than that everything else was perfect !

Katherine was a wonderful host, and her Barryville home was the perfect getaway for our family. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed—the thoughtful breakfast treats waiting for us were such a kind touch and set the tone for our stay. The cabin itself is spotless, tastefully decorated, and stocked with everything we could possibly need. Katherine was always quick to respond and happy to accommodate our questions and requests. Her flexibility and warm communication made planning our days easy. :) If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with a responsive host, delightful personal touches, and a home base that feels both rustic and refined, Katherine’s place is perfect. Great Airbnb ! We enjoyed it very much. Got to see wildlife and go on walks etc.

Overall a great place to stay. View of the willowemoc was incredible. Truly beautiful. Heating system was pretty loud. Could easily hear it inside. WiFi was pretty much non-existent Those were my only complaints. Place itself very nice and tastefully done.

This place was a homerun. Clean organized great location peaceful. Nice detail and accessories provided for a stay at a log cabin. Me and girlfriend already booked it again Excited to go back.

We had an incredible stay at Halle's place over the weekend! Flexible check in and check out windows made travel stress free and getting in the house was super easy. The property itself is gorgeous and the interiors are so well curated - you can tell it is a well thought out and loved home! It was completely comfortable for 2 couples + dogs and we had a great time cooking, relaxing by the fire and exploring nearby hikes and towns. Our dogs loved playing in the yard and we would highly recommend taking the Rails to Trails path into Hurleyville! All in all, a top notch Airbnb stay, so thank you Halle and we plan to be back!!!

If in your mind, you could imagine an ideal place to get away - a cozy and thoughtfully furnished house nestled in front of a pond, this would be that place. A long driveway takes you away from the main road and leads to a stylish and very comfortable home. Three bedrooms, 2 baths and an open kitchen made the house feel very roomy. Our daughter made an early claim to a small landing at the very top of the stairs, a perfect place to settle into a bean bag chair and matching ottoman and continue her adventures with Nancy Drew. Our stay was extremely guest friendly. There was nothing we felt want of that Jared and Chelsea hadn't provided. A pile of comfy blankets, a nice bottle of red wine and a movie screen and surround sound gifted us two fun movie nights. In fact, their attention to detail made the house feel unusually familiar to us. The daily view of the pond and its inhabitants; a trio of ducks, a pair of cranes, and an industrious beaver, gave the home an idyllic quality.

Absolutely loved staying in this charming cab! Nestled near stunning mountains, serene lakes, and lush green areas, the location was perfect for nature lovers. The cab itself was incredibly clean, safe, and cozy, making it a haven after a day of exploring. The hosts were super responsive and welcoming, adding to the overall great experience. We had a wonderful time at this location & hosts were great!

We loved staying at Michael's place! From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed and at home. Everything worked well: the grill, the outdoor lighting, the appliances in the kitchen, and the wood stove (all we had to do was light the fire starter). We loved eating at the table and watching the sunset. The beds are extremely comfortable, the bathroom is super clean, and the living room is relaxing with plants along the windowsill and a beautiful view of lake through the trees. Michael's list of recommendations is fabulous; we loved exploring neighboring towns, fishing spots, and local hikes. We highly recommend Michael's gorgeous cabin in Eldred!

We came into town for a quick night before a Spartan race! The place was private and perfect for us! It was as decdcribed and the hosts were very communicative! Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

I needed a getaway after a long stretch at work and was looking for something remote and peaceful—Grayson’s place was absolutely perfect. It gave me everything I needed for a truly restful and recharging stay. He’s clearly put a lot of thought into every detail of the space, and it shows. Celebrated a birthday this weekend and it is the perfect place to get away for some peace and quiet! Cozy, clean, the atmosphere was exactly what we needed for a weekend get away. The hot tub was great and this home had everything we needed and then some! Aimee was a fantastic host, responsive and helpful at all times. Will definitely be coming back again!!!
