Holiday rentals with a kayak in Stockholm

We had a great time at Joakim‘s cabin. It‘s in a quiet and beautiful area, perfect for small hikes. We were also allowed to lend kajaks and explore the nearby lakes. Would definitely recommend for a cozy getaway!

We had a fantastic time there. The location on the water is absolutely great. We got into town either by bike or by public transport. Communication with Börje was always very good. We can only recommend the accommodation.

Our stay at Hans and Lena's place was very pleasant. The house exactly matches the photographs and description, it is very welcoming and equipped with every comfort. It is easy to get around by public transport: a few minutes' walk from the house there is in fact the bus stop that takes 30/40 minutes to Stockholm. The surroundings of the house are quiet and the view of the canal is very evocative. Unfortunately, due to schedules, we didn't have the pleasure of meeting Hans and Lena in person, but we met the son, very helpful. In any case, hosts were always available via phone and provided us with all the necessary information.

This place was absolutely amazing! The house design is stunning—modern, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. Everything offered, from the amenities to the little extras, made my stay so enjoyable. The view was breathtaking, and I loved waking up to it every morning. The hosts were exceptionally kind, helpful, and supportive, always making sure I had everything I needed. I highly recommend this wonderful home to anyone visiting the area! My family and friends also had a fantastic time and were especially impressed by the charming Swedish style of the house. It added a unique and cozy touch that we all appreciated. I appreciate all your help and would happily stay here again. I highly recommend this place for anyone that wants to experience how Swedish people live:)

The house is amazing an ideal place for families! We had a wonderful stay at Jonas' house. The bed was comfortable, and the location is perfect, just a short walk from the water. The host was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this place for families looking for a relaxing getaway.

You will need to go there to believe how truly beautiful this place is. We are a family of five and spent a wonderful week on Viggsö Island. We have never had a better host than Harry, extremely friendly, helpful, and always available! We would love to come back one time.

We had a fantastic four-night stay at this beautiful cottage in Vaxholm! From the seamless check-in to the breathtaking sunsets, everything about this location is designed for relaxation. The hosts were incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to address any issues quickly, making us feel well taken care of. The views are even more impressive than in the photos, and the private dock adds a special touch to the serene atmosphere. Although we encountered a few maintenance issues, such as the dishwasher breaking down, the hosts were proactive in making repairs. A wonderful getaway in the heart of the Stockholm archipelago!

We had a great stay, Hans is a great host quick to respond and friendly . Fishing on the lake is very good and kayak and canoe and even a boat are at disposal . The cabin have everything needed . We greatly recommend it and will happily go back .

We had the most lovely stay at the sea cottage. It was a bastion of rest and relaxation. We could not stop looking out over the beautiful sea views. We would come back in a heartbeat!

We really enjoyed our stay at this quiet and peaceful place in the Tynningö. The best part by far was the view — wide open sea, fresh air, and large cruise ships slowly passing right in front of the house. It was like watching a moving postcard! One of the highlights was definitely the hot tub overlooking the sea. Sitting in the warm water while watching the sunset or seeing ships glide past was an unforgettable experience — calm, scenic, and perfect for unwinding. The house is simple and cozy, with all the essentials you need. The bathroom was a bit small, but manageable — and honestly, the view and outdoor experience more than made up for it. Highly recommended if you're looking to disconnect, recharge, and enjoy the best of the Swedish archipelago.

We had a great time on the island. For us, a small family with two children, the small house was the perfect compromise between being in the city, but also having the possibility to be in nature. Michael was very friendly and helpful. The fact that we could use the canoe, was a very nice extra. It gave us the possibility to do something active rather than just being in the city of Stockholm. The ferry to the mainland, which is included in the public transport, was also nice for us to take. We had a very nice stay. Thanks Michael!

We enjoyed an absolutely relaxing weekend at Olle’s beautiful hut at the lake. Our plan was to escape city life and enjoy nature, which we could do perfectly in the cozy hut. The access to the water and a sauna right next to it was all it took for us to feel like home and we enjoyed the time a lot and we felt like home. Perfect for reconnecting with nature, enjoy the beautiful garden and the amazing company of our two lovely hosts. Very easy going people and are down for a quick and interesting chat when you wish to. Very thoughtful and welcoming!

Great communication with Bijan and Hajer. They were not physically here to welcome us but left precise indications on how everything works. As we arrived in minus temperatures outside, the houses were quite cold and needed a few hours to warm up. The little chimney helped a lot and put us in a very cozy mood. Bijan even prepared the logs so we would just had to light them on for the first time. The bus stop is really close to the property (only a few minutes away - it is ideal to go to Stockholm as there are a few direct buses and many indirect ones). The kitchen has everything you need to cook and bake. We had a great time for Christmas and New Year there, we were able to enjoy the fireworks from the terrace up in the backyard with very nice views. I highly recommend!

Brilliant long weekend stay. Beautiful cabin right on the water, we made use of the kayaks daily! Amanda was a responsive and friendly host, we would definitely recommend this stunning place.

We rented the accommodation for 10 days and felt very comfortable. It is wonderful to sit on the beautiful terrace and enjoy nature. There are very nice hiking trails in the area and also beautiful bike paths along the coast. The bike path to Stockholm is very well developed and you can reach the city comfortably with a dog trailer in 1 1/4 hours. The bus stops are within walking distance in about 10 minutes and the bus ride to Stockholm takes between 35 and 45 minutes. There is a well-stocked supermarket and a bakery nearby. We can only recommend the place.

We stayed for a weekend in Anders cabin. Very beautiful surroundings and beautifully decorated. Sauna and swimming was an amazing experience, so peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommended!

This was a lovely and characterful house - typically Swedish and very comfortable. Public transport options from Vaxholm and the house into Stockholm are both frequent and very affordable. When I saw the location on Airbnb, I decided to rent a car. It was convenient having one, but the buses and ferries are so good that a car isn’t absolutely essential. It was nice meeting Pontus and Sophie. Vaxholm is a chic little resort and a hub for the islands in the archipelago.

A beautiful house and perfect island to relax on. The house is clean and easy to get to from the boat. Pontus is a great host who answers all questions promptly. I would highly recommend this house and would love to go back again one day.

Nice little cottage right by the water and overlooking the fjord. Simple standard but with everything you need. Paula is a caring host who makes guests feel welcome. A plus is, of course, that our dog was also welcome. We'd love to come again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Magdalena’s! It’s a short walk to Sigtuna where there’s lots to do - you can play mini golf, frisbee golf, visit the museum or the ruins/graveyard. At Magdalena’s we used the sauna which was a really nice way to relax in the evening and we rented kayaks and had lunch on an island which was really nice! The cabin itself is quiet and peaceful and we had a great sleep. There’s also a small grill that you can use for dinner, or you can make dinner in the kitchen in the basement. Magdalena was really helpful and responsive. We would gladly stay again at Magdalena’s cabin in the future!
