Beach house holiday rentals in Stockholm

An absolutely beautiful house with a very great location. There were also more than enough play opportunities for the children. The family responded very quickly to messages and thus saved our vacation. Absolutely recommended. I'm sure we'll be back.

Our stay at Hans and Lena's place was very pleasant. The house exactly matches the photographs and description, it is very welcoming and equipped with every comfort. It is easy to get around by public transport: a few minutes' walk from the house there is in fact the bus stop that takes 30/40 minutes to Stockholm. The surroundings of the house are quiet and the view of the canal is very evocative. Unfortunately, due to schedules, we didn't have the pleasure of meeting Hans and Lena in person, but we met the son, very helpful. In any case, hosts were always available via phone and provided us with all the necessary information.

Great location and cosy atmosphere!

For the third year in a row, I have enjoyed the fantastic little cottage by the lake! The host Ulrich received me as kindly and helpfully as usual. Here you can really relax and enjoy the beautiful nature. If you sit on the balcony by the jetty, you are guaranteed to see a variety of birds swimming by and in the surrounding forest, there are squirrels and deer that come close. The cottage is incredibly cozy and has everything you could need during your stay. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen is equipped and charcoal is available if you want to grill outside instead. The little cottage on Vättersö has become a nice annual tradition for me and I am already looking forward to next year!

Fabulous house, beautifully restored and decorated. Great location by the water to watch the boats go by and for a morning swim :) Very well equipped kitchen. Börje is a great host, greeted us at check-in and took time to explain everything. Always quick to respond to messages.

Johan and Laila's beautiful house meets all the requirements. Super spacious and nicely located on the waterfront with running trail. We had a wonderful time thanks to the very good care of the hosts. Highly recommended!

Excellent house with incredible views, outside space was spacious and south-facing, very peaceful. Inside, very modern and great space for larger groups. Perfect for our family reunion and had everything we needed. Adam was a great host, even picked up our luggage on arrival from ferry, very much appreciated. Sauna on the jetty is a major highlight too, lovely evenings spent watching the sunset. The island shop is also well stocked and a short walk. Thank you to Adam for making our holiday a truly memorable experience.

We had 2 very nice days and nights in the cottage. Our little girl had so much fun at the pool and was so happy she could use the toys of the family! The airbnb is equipped with everything we needed. It is close to the water and there is a nice beach and playground closeby. It was very relaxing and the hosts were very nice and always available when we had questions.

Everyone who was there was completely shocked and positively surprised. It was like a dream come true. 🔥

Sandra and Per were perfect hosts. Their home is located in a lovely area with stunning views. The home is professionally decorated, but very cozy. Our grandchildren loved the trampoline. Every possible amenity was already there. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay with our children and grandchildren. We had a lovely stay at Roberts and Sandra house. Everything we need was there. Great transport links in and out of Stockholm. Highly recommend.

Lina and David are incredible hosts. The day before travelling we realised we'd made a big mistake and were unable to travel on our booked week. Wee had a non-refundable booking, and Lina and David didn't have to do anything to help. Despite being at work they communicated all day (whilst we were panicking) and amazingly offered new dates at no extra charge. We can't thank them enough for their support. The property is perfect, a beautiful location. It's a lived in home and it had a very homely feel, the open plan kitchen leading into the living room was great. The kids loved the bedrooms, so many toys for them to play with. Beds really comfortable, great showers/baths, and anything you could imagine needing they have. The garden area is spectacular, backing out into the open woods made for spectacular views, and heated pool loved by all, footballs, games, trampoline, and an incredible BBQ. Quick drive to shops, ferry terminal, and so much natural beauty. Thank you Lina/David

We had a fantastic stay! Magdalena and Oscar were super friendly, responsive, and welcoming, so everything was easy and smooth. The house is beautiful, with a spacious garden, lovely pool, and a charming greenhouse we really enjoyed. Surrounded by stunning nature, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge. Would love to come back!

Our family had a wonderful one-week stay at Daniel and Malin’s house - the perfect home with the perfect hosts. The house and property are stunning - just as beautiful as in the photos. Everything inside the house was very well-appointed and in great shape - comfortable and clean bedrooms, great kitchen, lovely bathrooms, great electronics (WiFi, smart tv, Sonos home audio). The terrace and outside areas were great and we had numerous meals and family gatherings outside. The area is so tranquil and beautiful, with the stunningly beautiful lake only an eight minute walk away. We even spotted deers in the garden in the evening. Daniel was the perfect host - very helpful and responsive, and very generous in sharing everything their home had to offer, including their son’s toys and books, which my four year old son just loved. We’re already planning another stay here next summer, and cannot recommend this home and host highly enough!

We loved our stay at Fredrik’s place! The view across the water to Stockholm was stunning, and the train into the city was quick and easy. Fredrik was a gracious host and recommended 450 Gradi nearby—we grabbed takeout and a bottle of wine and enjoyed a perfect evening on the deck watching the boats go by. Highly recommend!

The beach house is fantastic! The pictures do not make justice to the beauty of this place. It is the perfect retreat for a couple or a solo traveler. Malin is a fantastic host and the breakfast she prepared was outstanding! I would definitely recommend and come back!

We had a fantastic stay in the house – everything was just as promised and even better! The house was fresh, well cleaned and incredibly charming, with nice social areas both inside and outside. The host was very nice and helpful, quick in communication and flexible with everything that could be solved. The location was also great and incredibly beautiful – quiet and nice but still close to what we needed. We really appreciated our time here and hope to return on another occasion. Lovely peaceful place. Short drive to bus into Stockholm. No restaurants close by but we were happy to cook at home. A few more condiments would have been very handy. Because we were resting, it would have been nice to have some footstools and coffee tables. All in all very nice. And very good communication with host.

This was an absolutely lovely place to stay. We spent five nights here with Harri and Grete, who were very hospitable and kind. They helped us out by picking us up at the train station after our car broke down and invited us up for breakfast. The space is beautiful and tasteful, thoughtfully designed and furnished with nice linens and handmade ceramics. There was a nature reserve nearby that was great to walk our dog in, and public transportation (ferry and train) very close by as well. Thank you Frej, Harri and Grete!

We really enjoyed our stay at Lars‘ place. The area is beautiful and the view from the living area and balcony is outstanding. The house is modern and clean and also well equipped with everything needed. Check-in and communication was easy.

Our stay was wonderful. We felt at home I highly recommend it.
