We had such a lovely stay at Charlotte’s place - incredible accessibility to Stockholm and all with beautiful natural surrounds and interesting hiking trails for miles. She was super responsive and kindly gave some local recommendations. For anyone who loves nature but is also keen to experience the city, this is a perfectly placed spot. We had a great stay at Patrik's, the neighborhood is very nice, quiet, peaceful and charming. The beach is only a 5-minute walk away, and the bus stop is also nearby. Patrik gave us all the necessary instructions for our arrival and to get around during our stay. The cabin is very welcoming and is equipped. We didn't need anything more. This stay was a very good time, a very nice discovery of the city of Stockholm and its inhabitants, the pleasant and peaceful atmosphere and the wonderful landscapes. Thank you Patrik for having us at your place. I highly recommend the Vardmo hut.

Dream location magical little cabin that would still need some refreshments

Very nice and cozy stay if you want to explore Vaxholm area! 😊 The place was clean, had everything we needed and felt very cozy. It was great that we could just walk around the island and when we could borrow the bikes for free to explore Vaxholm 🏝. Linda and her husband are very nice too, gave us lots of local tips and the communication was always very easy and fast. Can only recommend!

For the third year in a row, I have enjoyed the fantastic little cottage by the lake! The host Ulrich received me as kindly and helpfully as usual. Here you can really relax and enjoy the beautiful nature. If you sit on the balcony by the jetty, you are guaranteed to see a variety of birds swimming by and in the surrounding forest, there are squirrels and deer that come close. The cottage is incredibly cozy and has everything you could need during your stay. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen is equipped and charcoal is available if you want to grill outside instead. The little cottage on Vättersö has become a nice annual tradition for me and I am already looking forward to next year!

Nice and very tastefully decorated cottage, perfect accommodation for a romantic couple's trip. Fantastic views of the sea and wonderful sunsets. The sauna was much appreciated. Very communicative host who was concerned about how we were doing.

The accommodation is really beautiful – incredibly detailed and lovingly furnished, so you feel comfortable immediately. In addition, it was very comfortable and had everything you need. The location was also very good, the surroundings quiet and the city center easily accessible. Anna-Karin was really great – super likeable, warm and incredibly communicative. Her kindness and helpfulness were a big plus and made our stay very pleasant. We can fully recommend this place and would come back anytime!

A real little haven of peace! The accommodation is modern, well arranged and perfectly located by the sea with breathtaking views. We loved the tranquility of the surrounding nature. Ideal to unwind. Our stay at this unforgettable Airbnb on Varholma was truly a dream come true. Nestled in a peaceful and remote location, it offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life—a true haven for slowing down and reconnecting with nature. The house itself is beautifully and thoughtfully designed, with cozy Scandinavian interiors and so much attention to detail. Every corner feels warm, inviting, and filled with love. Whether it’s raining or the sun is shining, this place offers the perfect atmosphere to relax and unwind. And the sunsets? Simply breathtaking. Sitting outside in the evening, watching the sky turn golden over the water, was an experience we’ll never forget. We can’t recommend this magical spot enough!

I spent two wonderful days in this little cottage. You can explore the surrounding nature and the area is very quiet and relaxing. If you have a car, it is very well connected to Arlanda Airport and you can easily go to Stockholm and Uppsala. Izabella was a fantastic host, always attentive to her guest! I recommend it!

Jakob and Karuna were wonderful hosts. Always helpful and the communication was great. The house has everything you need and I felt at home there! The area is great for nature lovers (hiking, fishing, cycling) and also a trip to Stockholm (whether by car or bus/train) is very easy. I can recommend the accommodation to anyone. ;-)

Very relaxing and enjoyable stay

This place is truly wonderful. We stayed here for a few days for our mini moon and it was perfect! We were lucky with the weather so were able to enjoy a beautiful sunset over the lake, a row in the boat, the sauna and relaxed on the balcony. It was peaceful and clean. We hopped on the bus to Stockholm which was super easy! The bed was extremely comfortable and the snacks in the fridge were a bonus. The place is even better than the photos! Would recommend! We were looking for a peaceful, tranquil location just outside Stockholm - and that’s exactly what we got. Perfect. The cabin is lovely - everything as described and kitted out in the customary Swedish style, quality and elegance. As they used to say down the east end of London: all good; nothing bad! .

We had a lovely stay at e Ellinore's cottage. We didn't realise it was actually next to the host's house, but we still had loads of privacy and felt like we were staying in our own space so this was fine! The cottage is spotlessly clean and tidy and very comfortable. There's no kitchen but there is crockery and tea and coffee equipment so we had breakfasts with no problem. Although you can get there by bus or driving, we took the boat from Stockholm, which was really nice (then it's just a short bus from the boat pier). The cottage is a short walk from a lovely little cove where you can swim (down to the sea, turn right, five minutes only), and also a short walk from a big supermarket and a couple of restaurants including a really nice pizza restaurant. There is a very nice park where you can walk through the woods at Hemmesta Sjöäng nearby. This is a very peaceful place that encourages you to put your feet up and relax which is just what we were looking for!

Eva's place is so charming and cozy - a very Swedish experience. 🥰 I have stayed here before and enjoyed it. I like the calm, peaceful surroundings while also being within a short walk to the train, where you can easily go to a large indoor shopping mall and get just about anything you might need - groceries, clothing, dining, haircuts, massage, etc! The bed is really comfortable, as long as you don't mind going up and down a ladder to the loft. I highly recommend this place if you prefer to stay near nature and peace and quiet.

We had a wonderful time at Sanne and Svenne's tiny house. The place is super cozy and with the surroundings perfect for slowing down. We felt very comfortable. We especially liked that for a tiny house the kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed. We used the local busses for getting around which is very easy to do, though we would recommend a car if you plan on more outdoor activities. Sanne and Svenne are very accomodating and super nice, thanks for this little trip to winter wonderland :)

We spent a lovely couple of days here. The house was clean and well equipped. Susanne was very welcoming and quick to respond to messages. We have family live nearby so would definitely look to stay here again.

I want to express a big thank you for a wonderful stay in the cozy cabin in the middle of the woods! Everything was top notch: cleanliness, comfort and attention to detail that really makes the stay enjoyable. The cottage is surrounded by beautiful nature where you can relax completely and enjoy the silence. Monica is incredibly helpful and thoughtful, always ready to help and answer any questions. This location is perfect for those looking for privacy and rest far away from the city noise. We will definitely be back and highly recommend to everyone! ❤️
