Holiday rentals with a kayak in Stockholm County

An incredibly nice and cozy summer place! Everything was well organized and homey, and Louise was fantastic - quick in communication, helpful and very friendly. We felt really welcome and will be happy to come back!

We had a great time at Joakim‘s cabin. It‘s in a quiet and beautiful area, perfect for small hikes. We were also allowed to lend kajaks and explore the nearby lakes. Would definitely recommend for a cozy getaway!

Had a great stay at Mathias's house. It is a beautiful space in great surroundings. Mathias was a helpful and responsive host. Highly recommend

We had a fantastic time there. The location on the water is absolutely great. We got into town either by bike or by public transport. Communication with Börje was always very good. We can only recommend the accommodation.

We booked Robert's place because we had a family gathering nearby: the house and the stay were great! Beautiful views from a great terrace, but also from the dining room and living room. Spacious bedrooms for 5 people and a great sofa bed for another two people. More than spacious kitchen, really all necessities are available! But most importantly: a cozy house! In addition, Robert was very attentive, contacted if everything was ok, but respected privacy! For us, a great week in a beautiful setting! Certainly subject to repetition!

Hans & Lena's cottage is a delightful stay. It's beside the water and it was really nice sitting outside with a wine and watching the boats go past. The bed is comfy, the shower is great and the kitchen has all you need. There is a restaurant/bar close by which is also on the water. It's approx 25 mins to central Stockholm but most of the drive is motorway so it's easy driving. If you're looking for something quiet and peaceful this is for you. I recommend. (there is a road at the top of the property that gets busy at times but I didn't notice it after the first day). Thanks for being friendly and helpful hosts 🙂

We had a super lovely stay over the Midsummer weekend. Perfect place if you want to get away from the big city for a few days. Well-equipped, cozy little cottage with fantastic location by the water. The host was friendly and accommodating. Will gladly come back!

We stayed at this beautiful red house for a quiet midsummer celebration. The house is gorgeous and the hosts are always quick to respond. We had some problems with the code to get us into the house at first, but Adde helped us quickly and it all solved itself. The area is very beautiful and quiet, but as it was Midsummer, the neighbours had a loud party during one of the evenings - not part of our plans, but it is what it is. The day before and after were perfectly quiet, in our taste! Would definitely recommend!

We stayed a week in the beautiful house with 3 adults and 2 children (9 y., 7 y.). We had a wonderful time in this magnificent house in this unique place. The two houses are even nicer than in the pictures. It really is all there and very well equipped and very clean. We immediately felt very comfortable. Henrik and his wife welcomed us at check-in. Since you cannot drive to the house by car, but park on the neighboring island, Henrik came with the quad and brought our luggage to the island. Throughout our stay, we were allowed to use the family's small boat for trips around the island. That was a highlight for everyone. There were also 2 kayaks and a stand-up paddle board that we could also use. We would come back any time, because we spent some really great days here!

What a fantastic place! We enjoyed it very much. Beautiful nature with a camping feeling. The cottage is rather small but very nice. And our daughters really enjoyed the separate guest house. The large garden with all its magical places is wonderful. Alex is a great host, always responded quickly and solved any problems. He even prepared the whirlpool for us. And his dog Audrey is adorable. We can highly recommend this accommodation and hope to come back one day. Thank you Alex!

Excellent cozy little stuga in the Trosa area. Can highly recommend a stay here. Will be back when the weather is warmer and can enjoy the sea more!

We had a great time on the island. For us, a small family with two children, the small house was the perfect compromise between being in the city, but also having the possibility to be in nature. Michael was very friendly and helpful. The fact that we could use the canoe, was a very nice extra. It gave us the possibility to do something active rather than just being in the city of Stockholm. The ferry to the mainland, which is included in the public transport, was also nice for us to take. We had a very nice stay. Thanks Michael!

We enjoyed an absolutely relaxing weekend at Olle’s beautiful hut at the lake. Our plan was to escape city life and enjoy nature, which we could do perfectly in the cozy hut. The access to the water and a sauna right next to it was all it took for us to feel like home and we enjoyed the time a lot and we felt like home. Perfect for reconnecting with nature, enjoy the beautiful garden and the amazing company of our two lovely hosts. Very easy going people and are down for a quick and interesting chat when you wish to. Very thoughtful and welcoming!

We spent a relaxing long weekend at the cabin with our 2 small dogs and cat. The cabin was clean and comfortable, and had plenty of cooking tools. I appreciated that heaters were already set up in the cabin and toilet so that they were cozy for our arrival! We enjoyed walking around the area, seeing the birds and enjoying the views over the open farmland. I can definitely recommend this place for a short getaway. Mattias and Yvette were responsive and friendly, including helping mail my keys to me when I forgot them. All in all, this rental was a great experience.

Cecilia's log cabin was the perfect place for my husband and I to retreat to and have a quiet weekend for ourselves. We had everything we needed. She even provided an extra towel which would have been very useful if the weather had been warm enough to take a dip in the sea. There is plenty of hot water to have a bath and enjoy the view of the sea. And the bed - oh it was so comfortable! We both slept well. The view over the sea and islands was peaceful and we loved spotting the local wildlife - fox, deer, hares and lots of birds. It was also easy to go on different walks every day and find new things to look at and delight in. We took a trip to the local bakery Rådmansbageriet and we get why Cecilia recommended it and why it is award-winning. Don't miss this place when you stay at Cecilia's log cabin! This home is the perfect getaway if you want to be surrounded by nature (woods, sea and nearby lakes) and simply slow down body and mind. You will definitely feel refreshed!

Vilhelm's farm is incredibly nice and is private and quiet. Charming cottage with nice decor and beautiful garden. Close to water (even if you have to cross a road) and all the amenities you might need. We enjoyed the sauna and were happy to be able to grill our dinner. Vilhelm was very hospitable and caring that we would have a good time. Our warmest recommendations!

Brilliant long weekend stay. Beautiful cabin right on the water, we made use of the kayaks daily! Amanda was a responsive and friendly host, we would definitely recommend this stunning place.

Everything beautiful. Peaceful, lots of nature and animals around and well equipped

The perfect spot to celebrate midsummer in a peaceful and beautiful environment. Erik warmly welcomed us and was excited that we stayed at his Airbnb. The living/bedroom cabin is amazing, very cosy! The kitchen and bathroom are basic, but we loved living a bit more 'primitive' and it had all we needed. Lastly the Airbnb comes with a canoe and we made a short trip to the opposite island which was uninhabited and fun to explore!

Stefan & Liselotte are fantastic hosts. Super clear and useful information ahead of our arrival about the cabin, its surroundings and everything we needed to know. The best AirBNB stay I have ever had! Hard to express how beautiful and perfect Katarina’s cottage is. Easy to navigate without a car, ferry from Stockholm drops off and picks you up just a few hundred feet from the cottage. Well-stocked grocery store is a short 5-10 min bike ride away. Lots of amenities at the cottage, we were able to use the row boat and kayak, the hot tub was perfect at night and even made some wood fired pizza with the pizza oven. On a sunny day, just sitting on the deck or the living room with the glass doors open can’t be beat! On the island, in early June, there was a Padel court and miniature golf course serving some delicious burgers and some other restaurants we did not visit, as they aren’t always necessary with the kitchen at the cottage. Katarina is also a very friendly and responsive host, promptly answering any questions we had. We stayed three nights, but wish we would have stayed more!

Nice little cottage right by the water and overlooking the fjord. Simple standard but with everything you need. Paula is a caring host who makes guests feel welcome. A plus is, of course, that our dog was also welcome. We'd love to come again!
