Monthly Rentals in Spottswood

This is THE sweetest little cabin surrounded by nature! We loved our stay at Melody's special place🌸🌿🐛🍄🦋🌞 We had the most amazing weather and walked all of the paths we could find. Unfortunately, recent rain water has washed away any hint of The Stream of Consciousness and we didn't feel safe walking through the mud and huge amount of leaves because of snakes and other creatures that were probably making their home in the piles. The meadow during the day was alive with butterflies and other insects and at night we saw the FULL Strawberry Moon and hundreds on Fireflies! I was suprised at the small dorm refrigerator and half a stove. Don't bring alot of food or you won't be able to keep it cold! Other than that, this was one of our favorite places to stay to date! Melody was a kind, friendly host and provided everything that you could possibly need 🩷 The small touches of love in the decor definitely showed how loved this tiny cabin is! We were SO cozy and comfy in this Airbnb! J&M

Mary's cabin was perfect for a weekend nature retreat. The best part was the pond with turtles on the property and a little nature walk behind the cabin! Absolutely recommend of you are hiking in the area or looking for a quiet weekend trip!

The setting was very serene and we enjoyed walked around the property a bit one of the evenings. There was a nice trail through the woods that ended at a pond and we said hello to the goats along the way. The setting was peaceful and relaxing.

"Almost Heaven, Hidden Valley Farm!" We had a wonderful stay and wish we could have stayed longer. We plan to go back soon. Alison and family are very welcoming. We enjoyed the serene, mountain farm setting and all the animals. We even made up new names for many of them. The dogs were friendly and we saw lot of deer in the fields. We learned some things about farm life. It was awesome waking up to have coffee on the wrap around porch, take in the site of the beautiful mountains, hear the birds singing and listen to the cattle in the field. We had everything in the cottage that we needed. The grandchildren enjoyed playing the games and having their own private place to hang out upstairs. Two bathrooms and places to shower is a plus for sure. Alison gave us ideas for places to go on our way out and back home and arranged a horseback ride that brought a big smile to a little girl's face. A gem in the mountains for sure! Farm folks at their finest! Thank you Alison!
