Couldn't recommend Brian's place enough! Private, extremely well stocked, and situated on the beautiful Lough Gill. Perfect location for visiting Sligo if you've got a car, as it's only a short drive to town, and parking is easy and free onsite. Brian was so helpful with recommendations and very communicative, so if we needed anything, it was nice to know they were nearby. 10/10.

Allison's flat was the perfect culmination to a two week trip on Ireland's west coast. I'll admit being worried by the pictures, but the room was quite spacious for two people and had EVERY amenity you could imagine. There was also the complementary loaf of brown bread, liter of milk, homemade jam (from a neighbor), and Ireland's famous butter. The washer/dryer was a great help before packing our bags for home. Allison and husband Garth lead extraordinarily interesting lives on their 40 acre sheep farm. They are as personable as any hosts we have met through ABnB. Be warned, though: sheep are sheep. They only sleep four hours a day, spending much of the remaining time bleating in a variety of tones and cadences. For us, it was a brilliant antidote to the cars and trucks that surround us at home. Give sheep a chance.

Phillip’s cottage is an absolutely phenomenal place to stay. It had everything we could’ve needed for the four nights we we’re staying there. Phillip was waiting for us at check in and took the time to show us around the place and tell us plenty of activities/walks around the local area which was greatly appreciated. The views around the house are breathtaking regardless of the weather. The inside of the home was fantastic, the rooms were very spacious with all the necessary amenities. The bathrooms provided everything needed and the stove didn’t go amiss either! Overall a stunning location and home and I would recommend it to anyone looking a relaxing getaway in a beautiful part of Ireland and will definitely have to be back!

The cottage is small but contains all the amenities listed, very clean and fresh inside. The lane accessing the cottage is narrow and uneven, be careful driving through the potholes. The property is listed as fully fenced which is why we chose it as we brought our two dogs, we were under the impression they would be able to run about freely in the outside space, however the space is not secure and will not keep your dogs from getting into the surrounding fields and lane which are full of sheep and lambs. So unfortunately the dogs had to be kept on their leads at all times. If you are looking for somewhere peaceful and quiet with superb views then this cosy cottage is perfect.
