Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Southern United States

My wife and i could not recommend Alton’s place any higher. If you’re looking for a private peaceful setting, and one very close to town… this one is what you’re looking for. The advertised description of the home is spot on. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Absolutely beautiful place, the view was beautiful, it was clean and organized. The drive there was calm and peaceful. You could see wildlife in the tree lines. The people were friendly, the local restaurants felt homey and relaxing. It was probably one of the best get-aways I’ve had from the busy city life.

We had a fantastic stay, beautiful peaceful surroundings in an amazing home. We settled in quickly and it was very comfortable. We had an amazing clear night with stars everywhere and a very relaxing time in the hot tub after a day of hiking. Google maps is not accurate so make sure you read the instructions carefully! Would definitely recommend.

It was a cozy and comfortable place to stay. The amenities were great, and we especially enjoyed the hot tub! Anna was a wonderful host, and we appreciated her hospitality

This place was an absolute gem. It was really, REALLY clean. I think the hosts emphasize how much they clean, and it really shows. It was conveniently located to Asheville. Definitely recommend staying here!!!

Brian was very accomodating and offered a great place for us to stay. It was a stress-free week at the lake with a wonderful view. The weather was great, so we got to use the roll up door during the day which made the place very unique and enjoyable. We will be booking this house again in the future and recommending it for anyone wanting a great stay on the lake!

What a beautiful, magical place! Gregory was the best host I've ever dealt with -- responsive and kind and lots of helpful info. And the house is simply gorgeous! this was the best vacation my husband and I ever took!!! we had a blast....these few days were sweet and were definitely gifted from up above🤗🤪 Our host was awesome & we are already wanting to plan another vacation with them real soon! This is an ABSOLUTE stay again! The suite was huge, very clean spotless. Cozy and felt like a resort style. The fire place was such an amazing touch and the accommodations were so cozy. I was beyond happy and pleased with my suite. The hot tub was very clean and warm and the shower was like a room itself! The design of the home is flawless.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay! The view is amazing and the studio unit had everything you could want. The bathroom was huge and had a jetted soaker tub. While we visited during a thunderstorm, I will definitely be back to use the kayaks!! Super friendly hosts would definitely recommend.

We only stayed one night, but absolutely loved it! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. Everything was well thought out, and we felt very welcome. Would definitely stay again!

Chris's home and neighborhood was beautiful. His location was perfect for a family with a young child. Our grandson really enjoyed the play area that Chris had built as well as the trampoline which was a perfect way for him to expend some energy after spending most of the day in his car seat. The accommodations for the four of us were fine and the snacks left for us were unexpected. We would stay with Chris again should the opportunity arise.

I have nothing but good things to say about this property, and the host. I travel a lot and this may be the smallest place that I have stayed in, but it has more than enough room and the space is extremely comfortable. It's also very simplistic, but has everything that I needed. Rachel was responsive before, during and after my stay. And finally, it's very private, very peaceful and a great location to hiking trails, which is my passion. Thank you for having me!

Rachel’s cabin was such a great getaway for our family vacation. There were so many little details that she thought of that made this day that much more enjoyable. This place is beyond family-friendly with plenty of accommodations for kids of all ages. We really loved having the side-by-side for easy access to the river where we spent the majority of our vacation. Would definitely recommend to anyone and will likely be back for another vacation in the future.

We had a wonderful stay over night as we was headed to Branson. We also got to meet and talk with Mr. Kenny he told us all about things to do near there and point us to places good to eat.

We loved this location! Such a beautiful view and easy check in and process. Just a short walk to Horsehead wedding venue where our friends got married! Would definitely come back with our family!

The cabin was beautiful! We did a quick overnight during our travel from TX to IL with our kids and didn’t want to do a standard hotel. This was such a fun change of pace and experience for us all! The home was exactly as described, decorated beautifully, and had some fun board games which was a nice bonus! I didn’t realize there was a little pond when we booked, so that was a huge pleasant surprise! There’s so much outdoor seating, beautiful trees and wildlife, and a cute garden which the kids loved! Definitely recommend booking this lovely home!

I stayed here with my kids and we loved it! My kids are suburban screen-addicted children and it was so nice watching them wake up, run to the creek and catch crawdads while I made breakfast. This spot is simple but thoughtful and has a spark of magic to it. We also Loved exploring Florence; such a neat town! Thank you!

The cabin was a sweet retreat. Very comfortable king bed, and every detail well thought out. It was conveniently located near to Lake Ft Smith State Park where our family reunion was held.
