Such a lovely stay at Lakeside Lodge, the surroundings were beautiful and our host Andrew went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. Stunning lake one side of the lodge and stunning views of the hilly countryside the other (both visible from the view in the hot tub) really could not have asked for anything more for a chilled girls trip. Could have stayed there forever!

Très bel endroit pour découvrir le Cotentin! La vue est exceptionnelle sur la baie du Becquet et la rade de Cherbourg. La maison est décorée avec goût et caractère. Nous avons pu profité de la grande terrasse et de beaux couchers de soleil. Une maison que nous recommandons et qui vous surprendra par sa vue! En plus, une belle plage est accessible en quelques minutes!

Clean & tidy Friendly & accommodating hosts Beautiful surrounding gardens with beautiful views of the sea & hills. Very peaceful with the occasional sound of the sheep in the distance, I would recommend for either couples or Families. Thank you Gigi & Roland for another wonderful time @ Huntingball-Lodge. Nous avons adoré ce séjour chez Mathieu, qui est aux petits soins. Nous avons suivi ses recommandations de restaurant, top ! Le cadre est incroyable, un calme absolu et une vue ! La plage à proximité est de sable fin et très peu fréquentée. Boulangerie à 5min en voiture, tout comme un petit super u, très pratique. La maison de Mathieu est très joliment décorée, de A à Z, des plantes partout et un parfait mélange de la modernité et de l'authentique (bois, parquet). Nous avons eu une météo plutôt agréable et quand il pleuvait on a pu faire quelques visites en intérieur ou profiter du salon cocooning et du jacuzzi. Merci à Mathieu pour sa disponibilité et son amabilité. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Very friendly and responsive host, always happy to help and got back to me quickly. Lovely apartment, had everything we needed and just right for us. The steps weren’t too bad, although we did have to carry our dog up/down a few times 🤣 Very close to lovely beach and beach bar and parking was easy to pay for the week and come and go as we please. Not far from Looe main town and good to explore other areas around to. Lovely views and would definitely rebook should we return to Looe. Thanks for being great hosts x

This property is well appointed, clean and comfortable. The location is perfect for access to all local areas of interest. The instructions from the host were clear and regular so there were no issues or problems.

the house and garden made an ideal location for a family celebration. made for a fabulous time. loved the coffee machine and arga and bbq. great space, very homely.

The house was the perfect place for our family and we enjoyed staying here so much we’ve actually already booked to come back! Having access to the beach meant being able to quickly pop down with our small children around bedtimes and naps and waking up to the view every morning was magical! The house had everything you could ever need, was so clean and comfortable and we instantly felt relaxed the minute we walked inside! Thank you Daisy! X

From the moment we arrived we felt at home. We allocated the well appointed rooms and got cooking in the well equipped kitchen. The view from the two back bedrooms is stunning and the garden room is an amazing place to sit and relax. The walk down to the beach hut was bracing as it was windy but once we opened it up and found the deck chairs it was great to people watch and the sand on the beach soft, just great for the kids. The location is also great for exploring Dorset, we were out every day. Just 20 minutes in either direction took us to beaches, towns and play areas, something for everyone. Hilton is a gracious host and accommodating. The house was as described and the photos are accurate, we would highly recommend.

Contemporary and spacious house in a peaceful residential street. The house is within a short walking distance from the beach and restaurants. Our grandson enjoyed having the playroom for his toys and we enjoyed the fact that the house was spotless and well equipped. Overall, it is a great holiday home for multi generations!

Oldbury Barn is in a lovely location in the countryside with great views (though tricky to find, so the 'what3words' helped a lot!). The house was nicely presented and lovely and clean. Plenty of pots, pans, mugs (!) utensils etc for a large family group. The open plan nature of the kitchen/diner/lounge is great for a multi generational family gathering like ours, as you are always all together in one huge room. However, note that its a tiled floor and there isn't much in the way of soft furnishings so noise echoes around a bit and can be heard from all bedrooms - but this is only a problem if you have very young kids going to bed early or getting up early! The 2 ground floor bedrooms are large and with lots of storage. The 2 upstairs bedrooms are small with very low ceilings and little storage - fine for kids but we were were 7 adults and one toddler, so that didnt work brilliantly for us . The "slight height restriction" in the description is quite an understatement!!

Lovely family home in the heart of the new forest. Was perfect for a pre Christmas getaway with lovely fireplace and warm Arga in the kitchen. Ian and team were very accommodating and it was lovely to have our two cocker spaniels with us to enjoy long daily walks in the forest. Will definitely be back again

What an amazing house, very comfortable, stunning views and very close to the beach. I would say the house, views and garden space are better than the photos. Our young grandchildren loved the freedom of the patio area and lawns.

The hosts were great, they were there to greet us and show us around. The property was very well equipped ans filled with ameneties, it was also spotless. Would definitely visit again!

Lovely stay. House was spotless and very spacious. The estate has great facilities (pool, spa, tennis courts, etc) and we loved having access to the lake for paddle boarding. Would recommend the private chef from Ballihoo on the estate. Alasdair was a very helpful and responsive host.

Our stay at Helens place was like a home away from home. It was a perfect little getaway for our family. I was so stunned to see all of the extra things Helen had provided so we had everything we needed. I loved being able to use her dish washer as we dont have one ay home and i even washed a few loads of my clothes whilst there which was a god send. I haven't been the easiest guest (having left a bag behind with some expensive items in it) however Helen got her cleaner to post these things out to me and paid for this charge. I am forever greatful.

Nile are a awesome man how help me a lot. My plan with the without the house couldn’t take me and my friends, so we were standing without anywhere to live thanks to Neil. My wife didn’t divorce me.

We had a great stay, even in January, and the house was perfect for us (6 adults, a 4-year old, 2 dogs) The house was warm and spacious with lots of kids toys and extremely well equipped. The hot tub in the garden is a lovely addition, despite high winds meaning we couldn’t always use it! It’s well located near Cowes and its amenities, amidst other houses but on a quiet road, with great views because it’s on a hill and very near the sea, though not a beach as such. We would certainly return if we can.

Very special place. Exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend for a group of 8 / 10 visiting Cornwall / St Ives area.

Lucy & Len were lovely people we knew they were around if you had a problem but we never did would definitely use this one again the added bonus of the pool and gym was great and the breakfast in the Dolphin was well worth the short walk into the village .
