Beach house holiday rentals in South West England

Beautiful cottage right above the beach in Portwrinkle, with coastal path walks in either direction. Within easy reach of Plymouth via the Torpoint ferry. We had a lovely Easter break there.

Amy's cottage is just as advertised , location is perfect, right on the river beach, its easy to find, and just a short walk from train station. The shops and several little cafes , bakeries and pubs, are all within a short stroll , many are dog friendly. Amy's cottage has everything you could need and its all very clean cosy and comfortable .Amy was quick to answer my queries and gave me good directions for getting there. Thank you for a lovely seaside break , me and my little dog would love to stay again .

Wonderful location and comfortable, well designed home. A little village out on its own with so much character and some great walks which are medium hard but good distances either way - to the left in the next village the Cricket Inn is delicious food and friendly staff - to the right a lighthouse. The views and beach really make this place… as well as being a close drive to Salcombe and Dartmouth. The house being is well stocked, stylish and comfortable so makes for easy living. We were a family of 7 and a dog and would highly recommend it. We did a Sainsbury’s food delivery to the house twice to make getting groceries easy and that worked perfectly too.

We had the best weekend staying in Amanada’s house celebrating a birthday it was beautiful. The house is even more beautiful than in the photos & my 2 year old loved looking out to sea every morning seeing the birds. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you so much ☺️ one bonus for families thinking of booking that I did not see prior to our stay is the stairgate at the top of the stairs to the kitchen it was perfect with 2 young children we could shut this off.

We are home after a Mon- Fri half term break at Admiral’s Watch, and we have had a wonderful time. Before we arrived we had clear directions from Nicky along with a really helpful list of recommendations for places to go with the kids. Getting to the property was easy and it was great to have a dedicated parking spot. The area is peaceful and completely beautiful. The small precinct of shops/ restaurants within the terrace was useful and didn’t intrude on our stay at all. The property itself is beautiful and just like the photos- the sea is right in front of the apartment making the views amazing. Nicky has styled the property beautifully and there was plenty of space for us as a family of four plus our dog. Activity wise I would recommend a trip to nearby Hurst Castle, and a meal at the Cliff House restaurant which was a short stroll away. Totally recommended, we had a great stay. We had a wonderful stay at Widemouth Bay! The air bnb was perfect for our family stay. It had everything you needed, was well equipped, clean and beautifully decorated. The beach is literally a stones throw away which was fantastic with the glorious weather we had. We also had a great lunch at The Beach house which is also walking distance from the property. Rachel was a fantastic host and answered all our questions promptly. Thank you for such a lovely stay, we hope to come and stay again soon!

Such a lovely and peaceful place to rest and recuperate (the garden is such a hidden gem) but as someone travelling with a little one, it was also just a short walk to the main beach for making sandcastles!

Gary was welcoming and helpful. The accommodations had everything I needed for short stay and longer stay. The views over Goodwick and Fishquard are stunning. It’s peaceful easy to park. I would highly recommend and look forward to staying again. I visited for the yearly Fishquard folk festival which was awesome.

A stunning lodge located in an upscale part of Brixham. The space was thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need – from a great coffee selection to hot chocolate, Biscoff treats, and even a variety of water. The interiors were beautifully designed with a stylish boho vibe, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. Thanks to Helen’s lovely place, I had the chance to discover Brixham – a charming, picturesque town with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Very homely and very well stocked caravan. Nice and quiet when we stayed. Parking space at the side big enough for 2 cars. Samantha was very helpful and very responsive to messages. Activity passes included making this a very reasonably priced place to stay.

Lovely area. Loved the pool and how spacious everything was. Very easy access to the beach and walking routes.

location was absolutely perfect for a relax and a decent walk everyday, we paddle boarded up the coast both ways and the scenery was stunning and finished most days with a swim in the pool. if you're after a close too everything place too stay this isn't the place for you but if you're looking for a break away from the world then this will tick all your boxes 🤗

Andy and Rachel's house was outstanding. Very high standard & nice of them to leave wine & welcome basket! Linen very high quality & towels. Perfect location with lots of places to eat and drink within walking distance

Phillipa's place was incredible, the whole place was spotless with everything you'll need for a short break away. The views were breathtaking and very peaceful. Phillipa was responsive with any queries I had which was very helpful, on arrival, there was a welcome booklet with local amenities and recommendations with places to eat which we had tried a few of! I would definitely love to stay there again in the future.

Just got back from a lovely few days break in this beautiful cottage. James is a very welcoming and friendly host and along with the information book in the cottage we had everything we needed to know. The cottage was just perfect and the outside and surrounding garden is like a scene from a fairytale. If you’re looking for peace and relaxation , then this is definitely the place. Inside the cottage , there are lots of beautiful original features alongside more modern amenities. Everything that you could possibly need to make your stay more comfortable has been carefully thought about by the hosts. It’s in a great location to get to places like Torquay, Dartmouth and Brixham. All in all a fabulous place to stay for some much needed R&R.

Beer is certainly worth a visit, a beautiful village on the coast with stunning scenery in all directions. Nikki and Chris's cottage is comfortable, welcoming and convenient for the area with private off-street parking. Communication was excellent throughout with local tips and knowledge. Would certainly recommend their property.

This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed at Chloe’s place and won’t be the last - the house is stunning, in a lovely quiet location and has a hot tub as a huge bonus. The beach and local pubs are within easy reach and there is no noise whatsoever. Thank you again for having us!

What a gem! The upper beach house is a fantastic find with the most wonderful scenic view to look out to. The house is spacious, homely and full of all the amenities to feel home from home. The outdoor terrace is a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the view of the beach. With just a one minute walk to the beach and costal path, the location was perfect. Gareth was a great host, responsive and clear instructions. A brilliant stay!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Boundary cottage! It’s beautifully designed with gorgeous high quality interiors. It was just right for us - two adults and two children. Everything was provided for a child friendly stay (high chair, stair gate, travel cot, kids tableware). The cottage is compact but has made the most of all space for useful storage, it had everything we needed. Highlights for us were the beautiful bed linen, the gorgeous bathroom with uninterrupted views into the fields with the cows and the lovely walk straight out of the front door down the farm track. Our kids adored the cows and the little play area was a welcome occasional distraction!

Lovely, relaxing stay in a beautiful, comfortable house. Fantastic views over the estuary, which we enjoyed whilst having breakfast on the balcony. As expected for hilly Fowey, the walk back up from town is fairly steep, but still doable for the oldest member of our party. Although there is no parking outside the house, you can park to unload and load, then park in the car park, a short walk up the hill. It's cheaper to pay for the week's parking, rather than pay each day. In all a very enjoyable stay and we'd be delighted to re-visit if we didn't live so far away (in Scotland)

A fantastic stay in a beautiful place! Romain is the ultimate host and the Villa Siam is GORGEOUS. It was the perfect stay for our family of four (with four year old and two year old) plus my mother, and enough to do locally if the weather isn’t playing ball. Can highly recommend the Cité de la Mer and the Parc de la Chateau des Ravelets. Great walkable little beach bar/bistro, and then plenty in Cherbourg, which is a short drive away. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you so much again Romain and Charlene for your hospitality!
