A great experience. Ulrike’s cottage was a perfect blend of character and charm: the beds were comfy, the view incredible (especially from the tower - what a great feature!) and everything was clean and well-considered. Even though our second day was cold and rainy, it was the perfect place to get cozy by a fire and unwind. A great stay and a great host - we hope to come back some day.

The place was exactly what we were looking for. It was secluded, quiet and had a beautiful view of the sea. With the directions and Google Maps, we were able to find the accommodation on the 2nd try. The amenities were modern and good. Unfortunately, you can't darken the bedroom well - otherwise a really very good apartment! I would book it again.

Very gracious host. Absolutely beautiful surroundings. It was magical waking up to the sounds of wildlife. The birds singing, the ducks and chickens. Very romantic out on the deck at night, under the stars. Can't wait to go back again.

We spent a wonderful weekend at Jeffrey's lovely cabin on the island! We appreciated the lack of television, and the emphasis on outdoor time spent together with all of the various places to lounge in Adirondack chairs while nature watching. The quiet surroundings were perfect. Watching the seals pop up and follow us while we kayaked was entertaining. Directions for getting there were easy to follow. The cabin was very clean and had all of the basics (food items aside) we needed. We opted to not use the bunkie and stayed in the main cabin on the Murphy bed, which was as you would expect for a fold-out mattress and suited us fine :) The treats left for us were a pleasant and unexpected surprise - it encouraged time spent around the fire pit together. There are some board games to play, as well. Other reviews noted the lack of window coverings as a drawback, but we really enjoyed waking up with the sun because it gave us more time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings!
