Family-friendly holiday rentals in Solvang

I got sick on the way to LA and Stayed with Jennifer almost for week - her hospitality was more than i could ask for. When she went to the town, she asked if i need any groceries or wanna order food - she picked up lunch for me - will recommend her to any one who wants to have cabin experience and piece of mind:)

This was an absolutely beautiful place. The gardens were such a delight to sit and relax in. We used the fire pit, played cornhole, and sat in the hot tub. We walked down to the beach quite a few time and walked out on More Mesa. It was large enough to have all of our family over and we never felt crowded.

Stay was lovely, although the unit was a little less secluded than I anticipated. It sits above a somewhat noisy road, but the view was amazing. The apartment is the bottom floor of the owners’ home with their (blinded) windows overlooking the patio. They were great - we never heard them and they gave us total privacy - but it’s not a separate building, which I didn’t quite surmise from the listing details. We did have a relaxing time and the location for exploring the area is perfect. Lots of care went into this property - small details like providing tea/coffee, comfy seating, and cozy lighting and decor. Hosts were great communicators. Happy we stayed here and would recommend!

Absolutely loved my stay at Amber’s place! The beach is right down the street, and the space felt perfect in size. It’s just like a master bedroom! I’m so glad there were coat hangers, and a dresser because I always overpack and had a ton of clothes I didn’t want wrinkled. I will definitely be coming back!

Great location, easy access to beaches, downtown. Comfy king sized bed. Take advantage of the fresh eggs, they were delicious. The unit is an extension of a family home but has a private entrance and feels separate. Hot tub, garden and sauna are part of a shared space with the host

Catie's place was really clean and had everything you needed to have a good stay. So many interesting items to look at, and I feel like I need another stay to see everything. Lots to do on the outside property and plenty of games on the inside. The kitchen was WELL stocked and the beds comfortable. The common rooms are big with lots of places to sit. Close to great hiking areas and town. Book it you will love it!

We had a wonderful stay at Aldo’s place! The space was exactly as advertised—spotlessly clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. Aldo was an incredibly responsive and kind host, taking the time to show us how the TV worked and making sure we had everything we needed. The location is fantastic—so close to Santa Barbara and the cliff walk, yet still peaceful and private. Having a dedicated parking spot was a huge plus as well. Truly a lovely experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!

AMAZING, GORGEOUS, ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!! Everything was fantastic from the view, to the interior, and the extreme kindness of the owner.

Perfect place for our stay to celebrate my son’s graduation from ucsb. We were mostly in Isla Vista but hosted a Sunday brunch for him and his friends. Sat outside in the comfortable patio and everyone had a fabulous time! My nephew remarked that Dawn’s place reminded him of my Italian grandmother’s house; everything was carefully chosen to reflect the vintage charm of the cottage with European flavor. Loved everything about our stay here!

We had an amazing stay, and the property is fantastic. Everything was super well communicated, including any questions we had. The property was quiet and private, with a lovely deck in the sun. Kitchen had everything you needed, as did the rest of the property including the cool milk bottle display. The rest of the property was spotless and we really enjoyed staying! Bravo to the hosts.

After moving to Orlando from California last year, I have missed the Arroyo Grande, Pismo Beach, and SLO areas more than any other place in my home state. I am so happy to have found such a truly wonderful spot with Aaron’s cozy yellow cottage! From gorgeous views to wonderful amenities to a perfect location so close to the AG Village, you truly cannot beat this place. The kitchen was an especially fantastic part of the house, as it was stocked with anything and everything we needed during our stay! Aaron was incredibly communicative and friendly from our very first to our very last interaction. I will stay here every time I am in the area in the future as long as it’s available, because I truly felt so at home. Thank you Aaron for providing such a clean, quaint, and quiet space for my parents and I to stay while we were in town for my sister’s graduation from Cal Poly! We cannot wait to be back!

The location was perfect, the house wonderful, and the beach amazing! We will definitely be staying again soon! What a great escape. Everything was just what I needed to feel comfortable. I don't think you'll regret booking.

Nice place down a quiet and safe street. Hosts were kind and responsive, and our kids loved the firepit and smores. House was clean and as described. Worked out nicely for our fam for a one night stopover.

Matt and Linda’s place is adorable and cozy! We loved the charm and character of the old home. Lompoc is a tiny town, but it’s ideally located in the middle of the Central Coast region. This makes it so easy to get to neat cities like Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Solvang, and Pismo Beach for day trips. Matt and Linda are excellent hosts - kind, communicative, and thoughtful. I’d highly recommend this place!

Had a absolute wonderful stay! Stayed with my partner and 6 month old. It was warm out but we stayed nice and cool in the home and the walk down to the village was great! Our little one also swam in the pool for the first time! The home and surrounding areas were beautiful and we definitely soaked in the beauty of nature in comfort. Extremely grateful for the stay and looking forward to next time!

Lots of room for extra friends/family. Great stove top/easy cleaning up. Clean pool, working laundry room. Amazing outside view! Checks off as a really great spot to stay for a few days. Outside amenities is okay could be better. But overall, the stay was pleasant.

The property with its yard, pool and views is really beautiful. Whitney was very communicative and responsive through our stay.

Cozy cabin was a great basecamp for our family. We loved the loft upstairs, the place had everything we needed, and we felt right at home. Nice location to explore Pine Mountain Club - beautiful hikes abound just at the end of the street. Enjoyed it!

This is such a special place. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! It’s a perfect central location - close to SLO, Paso Robles, Los Olivos, etc. We loved hearing the chickens in the morning, walking through the garden and enjoying the hot tub/pool amenities. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway, this is the place for you!!

So relaxing to stay here! Nice to be away from phone service and close enough to the hot tub. We were sharing the space with another couple in the glass house, with whom we had very minor and lovely interactions. easy to feel a sense of privacy even when sharing the land. Would love to come back and stay longer!

Julie’s place is amazing!!! Better than expected. College friend reunion. We really enjoyed the pool and the yoga studio and outdoor area. Julie is a delight!
