House holiday rentals in Smith Mountain Lake

We had a great weekend at the house! The host was very friendly and very quick to respond, and provided helpful instructions. The house was beautiful, new, clean, well stocked. There were plenty of community amenities, although we were bummed all tennis courts were closed due to repaving. With so many courts available it would have been nice to work on half while other half was open to use, then switch. But that was totally out of the owner's control so I didn't count that against it. Overall a great house, although we missed the proximity and direct access to the lake we had during our previous states at SML. But overall, if that's not something very important to you, you cannot go wrong with this host and house.

The condo was clean and modern. There was everything you could imagine you would need. Every switch is labeled. The towels were the best part. They were of high quality. And plenty of them. The HVAC was great. The condo felt like home from the moment we stepped inside. The only issue was communication about the code. They do not communicate over Airbnb. They will give this only to your email, which I did not know. You need to insure you have all of the info you need at least a day or two before you go.

We had a wonderful time at Kristie’s. Comfortable and beautiful property. The pool and game rooms were so much fun!

Our stay was great! The house was as described and looked like the photos. It's close to the amenities and was exactly what we were looking for. I Would highly recommend staying here and I would do so again.

I must say this was my first experience with ever staying in a Airbnb and wanted a change from a hotel and very glad we decided to give this a try. Tammy was an absolutely awesome host very responsive and a very nice lady. The description matches everything. Very beautiful property and very clean.

The house is in a great location. It’s true to the pictures. The host was very communicative. Great amenities & used them all. The kitchen is very well stocked. Loved the pool, fire pit & screened in porch for relaxing evenings. Beds are comfortable with clean linens. Great experience overall.

This was one of the cleanest and well designed homes we have rented. We will definitely try to book again next year. It is so peaceful and private there yet minutes from great restaurants and the lake. Everyone in our party had a wonderful time.

This home was spacious and beautiful! We honestly didn’t want to leave. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. We would love to come back and stay.

Quaint and peaceful place perfect for a long weekend gateway! Alicia is a very responsive host that quickly addressed a couple of minor issues at check-in. We ate a couple of times at the golf club’s restaurant nearby (~10min away, good food) and ordered in from a local pizzeria for our last night at the lodge (Alessandro’s). Highly recommend this place.

Jessi’s Air bnb exceeded my expectations! The house its self was beautiful, and the inside was very well kept up! The back deck made the perfect lounging area, as well as the boat dock! We enjoyed lots of sunshine at the dock! Jessi’s communication was amazing, checking in on us, keeping up to date and her response time made questions answerable within minutes! The location of the house is 15 minutes from restaurants which made it very accessible! The house is perched back into a cove, which made it very peaceful and relaxing! I would highly recommend Jessi’s air bnb!

A hidden gem to relax in the mountains and surrounded by deer making it a dream place to stay. 10/10!

We had a great time! We enjoyed the kayak, roasted marshmallows in the fire pint, rented a pontoon boat for one day, and followed Ben's helpful recommendations about having lunch at Cancun and having the kids check out the arcade at Bridgewater Marina. It was a perfect house for multi-generational guests, including our two young children. We made friends with two ducks at the dock and the kids splashed around in the water even though the water was a little chilly. They were thrilled and screaming with joy! The house lost power in the middle of a thunderstorm for a few hours, but it was all fine and the hosts were very responsive to any and all questions we had. We had an awesome time! Thank you to Ben and the other co-hosts we messaged with!

We took my parents here for a gift and it was a fantastic place to stay as a family. The location is gorgeous and feels private. Beautiful view of the lake, great dock, quiet street-amazing spot for a relaxing getaway. The kayaks and paddleboards were great fun (private launch!) and the house itself is spacious, charming, and perfect for our group of six. We enjoyed the grill, massive kitchen, beautiful sunroom, and more. As a host, Christine was very helpful, responsive, and friendly. A+ stay!

Really enjoyed our stay! One of the days was rainy and it was still great to just sit and read a book while looking at the lake. The main reason we booked this location was for the sandy beach area, it did not disappoint. Made it very easy to get our dogs in the water. And not have to take them to the park. The hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating. The also returned the dog cleaning fee very quickly which is always appreciated!! The dock is very well positioned for easy in, easy out should you want to rent a boat. The pictures are an accurate representation of the home. Easy to move around and a good seating. The deck is very large and can’t wait to see what they do with the reno in the spring!

Absolutely loved our stay! The house was spotless, beautifully appointed, and had plenty of options for our family to relax and have fun. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot on Smith Mountain Lake—highly recommended!

Great host. Very responsive. The place was extremely well maintained and very clean. Everything worked exactly as it should from the keyless entry to Internet access. The property is located .5 miles down a gravel road, which is rustic and dusty. The area is rustic as well. The price was a little high for a manufactured home but it was a holiday weekend.

This place was awesome and a great way to experience Smith Mountain Lake for the first time.

Kelsey was probably one of my favorite hosts ever, easy to communicate with. I booked on short notice she was patient, helpful compassionate and understanding she responded quickly. I never had to wait for any length of time for her to respond. We rented a different place first, they weren’t very helpful at all or even willing to help…I was majorly disappointed & stressed Kelsey was exactly what I needed, she was helpful and accommodating. We traveled from Idaho, to attend my mother’s funeral. Kelsey was very friendly, sympathetic, understanding she was so kind and gracious to us. The absolute perfect host. A perfect home allowing us focus time to face our loss, grief & family bonding. Rather than stress over our accommodations. The house was PERFECT clean, quiet so well stocked I didn’t have to worry about “anything” or if I had forgot something all my focus was on my mom’s siblings, my kids, my husband…. I had an amazing time at there place, its what I been needing. If you’re staying in the Smith mountain lake area, this is the place you need to be staying. The view is amazing and peaceful, with great vibes.
