Cabin holiday rentals in Smith Mountain Lake

Cabin was amazing to stay at, everything was prefect and the host had everything perfectly organized and had many different things for us to use. Such as games, hot tub , grilling supplies, fire pit. It was a great time and my wife and I enjoyed it. It is really close to the city, the food around the cabin was amazing. The people in the area were very kind and welcoming. I would definitely recommend going here.

While having a friend visiting from the busy city of Fort Worth Tx, and having never been to Virginia, John’s place was everything and more. Perfect for a quiet nature surrounded vacation and privacy to match. Very responsive host, great nearby restaurants, and near the beautiful SML. Great place to end a great trip! Will book again in the future

It was a very beautiful, quite place to stay. The hot tub was great. The fact this place is only a few minutes from Smith Mountain Lake makes it great choice if you would like to rent a boat and go on the water.

This place was heavenly! The home is beautiful, the amenities Taylor provides are endless (spices, towels, toiletries, etc), and we had such a fun stay here. It rained for most of our stay but the covered patio allowed us to still spend hours outside. When we weren’t on the porch we were using the game room or cuddled up on the couch. We cannot wait to come back. If you have a chance- eat at Vinny’s! We went back 2x

Ms. Michelle hosted my team as we were in town for a tournament and we thoroughly enjoyed the large space with the nice bedrooms, spacious living rooms, and the hot tub. We had access to everything we needed, with Ms. Michelle even getting some extra towels for us. A great stay!

We had a great stay with friends for our first visit to Smith Mountain Lake. The house had more than enough room for all 10 of us, was very clean, and had plenty of kitchenware for our stay. We really enjoyed the dock/deck, fire pit, and use of the kayaks and paddle boards. Hope to be able to return one day!

Fantastic little hidden cabin that met all of our needs. We loved that it was dog friendly and isolated enough we didnt have to worry about a leash. The solar driveway lights were a great touch as we arrived late. The creek was a lovely suprise, larger than expected. The driveway is gravel and long, tucked in just like we like! Nice decks and seating areas to enjoy the view.

Great place to bring your family and step away from the world. Peaceful and quiet with plenty of room for the whole family!

Would definitely stay here again! What a lovely, private cottage this is, set back from the road and allows you to feel peace. You cannot see any neighbors from the house, and can hear the beautiful sounds of nature all around. The breeze in the surrounding trees, as well as the singing birds was so relaxing. The house itself is rustic and feels so inviting! It has 2 large bedrooms and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was so clean and there are plenty of items to make you feel at home. Should we have had time, I would have loved to cook a nice meal and the sit down table in the kitchenette area would have been just perfect for enjoying this. The side game room had a fun Pac-Man game that we all played and enjoyed! The couches were comfortable and the fireplace in the same room is such a beautiful piece of craftsmanship with the stone that is surrounding it. We really enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to return. Thank you Stanley for sharing your home!

This home truly is such a wonderful treat. Perfect for a lake weekend. Excellent movie selection and retreat from networks. 10/10 would recommend to all my friends!

We really enjoyed our weekend at Cruising Altitude. The cabin was situated on the slope along a quiet inlet of the lake. It had a large deck under the shade of trees, perfect for sitting. The cabin was cozy and clean. I would stay there again.

Our stay was very relaxing. Alicia was very attentive and quick to respond to our messages. I would recommend her cabin to family and friends.

My son and I had the best time staying at the black water junction cabin. We fell in love with the view, the animals, and the atmosphere. The cabin was spotless and fully stocked with anything we could have needed. The binder telling all of the history and little unique additions was so interesting! The bed was comfy, the towels were heated, and there were fresh eggs in the fridge. The hosts are so friendly and so quick to answer any questions I had. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We will definitely be back!

This was my 2nd visit and it was exactly as I remember. Got to celebrate my son’s birthday on the lake and spend much needed family time. When we needed something Lannette was super responsive! I would highly recommend! She was a great host, and can’t wait to visit again!

Absolutely a great place for a quiet, peaceful getaway. Rented a boat and docked it right at the cabin, the cabin had everything we needed, and the lake is beautiful to be on!
